I am delighted to share that David Mathews takes charge as the General Manager of The Oberoi, Gurgaon and Nitesh Gandhi is now at the helm of
Trident, Gurgaon as the General Manager. I wish both my colleagues the very best and I am certain that under their leadership, the hotels will continue
to excel and offer our guests the best of hospitality and dining options.
We start the year with a host of exciting gourmet offerings. At threesixtyone°, we welcome Chefs Frank Seyfried and Tim Atorf from Hotel Schloss Elmau
in Krün, Germany, who bring authentic Italian recipes- from Alpine flavours to dishes from Tuscany and Sicily.
Last year had some pleasant highlights for us. The Oberoi, Gurgaon was voted the World’s Leading Luxury Hotel for the second consecutive year by the
World Travel Awards in December, 2012. The hotel was also voted as the Best Business Hotel in India by Condé Nast Traveller magazine. We were also
chosen as the Best Hotel- architecturally by the CNBC Travel Awards. Further, The Oberoi, Gurgaon featured in the World’s Top Hotels list by both
Travel+Leisure and Condé Nast Traveller magazines. I am sure the new year will bring even more glory for our hotel and the team. I would like to thank
