maintenance fund amounting to $ 40,699.94<br />

Disbursements.<br />

We find vouchers properly drawn on <strong>Grand</strong> Treasurer out <strong>of</strong><br />

Building fund amounting to $ 30,957.89<br />

Thus showing an overdraft on Building account <strong>of</strong> $ 2,707.50<br />

On <strong>the</strong> day <strong>of</strong> our visit <strong>the</strong>re were 175 children in <strong>the</strong> Home;<br />

93 boys and 82 girls. 115 <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>se are half orphans and 60 full orphans.<br />

From <strong>the</strong> above figures, every member <strong>of</strong> our Order can plainly see<br />

to what size our Home has already grown. During <strong>the</strong> past year<br />

$40,699.94 was expended in its support. The new building is now ready<br />

to be occupied, and already <strong>the</strong> applications <strong>of</strong> 50 more children for<br />

admission have been approved. All <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>m are half orphans. This<br />

will swell <strong>the</strong> number <strong>of</strong> children under our care to 225; 165 <strong>of</strong> which<br />

will be half orphans. This is in accordance with <strong>the</strong> expressed desire<br />

<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Grand</strong> <strong>Lodge</strong> and portrays <strong>the</strong> warm heart <strong>of</strong> every true Odd<br />

Fellow.<br />

The coming year we will have under our care 225 children. The<br />

past record <strong>of</strong> our Home proves that if only full orphans were admit-<br />

ted, we would reach our linit at some number less than 100 children,
