The <strong>Grand</strong> <strong>Lodge</strong> Journal for <strong>the</strong> session <strong>of</strong> 1912 consisted '<strong>of</strong> 579<br />

To arrange copy, read pro<strong>of</strong>, and index <strong>the</strong> <strong>Grand</strong> <strong>Lodge</strong> Journal,<br />

requires <strong>the</strong> entire time <strong>of</strong> a thoroughly competent person, whom we<br />

secured in <strong>the</strong> person <strong>of</strong> Bro. Past <strong>Grand</strong> Master Owen Scott.<br />

TRUSTEES OF THE ORPHANS' AND OLD FOLKS' HOMES.<br />

All bills allowed by <strong>the</strong> two Boards <strong>of</strong> Trustees are forwarded to<br />

me with an attached certificate signed by <strong>the</strong> President and Secretary<br />

<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Board and countersigned by <strong>the</strong> <strong>Grand</strong> Master. These bills and<br />

vouchers are kept on file in my <strong>of</strong>fice for future reference, and orders<br />

on <strong>the</strong> <strong>Grand</strong> Treasurer are drawn for <strong>the</strong> several amounts. Upon<br />

<strong>the</strong>se vouchers <strong>the</strong> <strong>Grand</strong> Master and myself have drawn orders on <strong>the</strong><br />

<strong>Grand</strong> Treasurer for <strong>the</strong> sum <strong>of</strong> $31,156.33, to pay bills contracted by<br />

<strong>the</strong> Trustees <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Old Folks' Home, and <strong>the</strong> sum <strong>of</strong> $41,534.85, to pay<br />

bills contracted by <strong>the</strong> Directors <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Orphans' Home, making a total<br />

disbursement for <strong>the</strong>se two charities <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> sum <strong>of</strong> $72,691.18.<br />

JUDICIARY AND APPEALS COMMITTEE.<br />

As Secretary <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Judiciary and Appeals Committee, I report<br />

that four sessions <strong>of</strong> this committee were held, as provided by law,<br />

on <strong>the</strong> third Tuesdays <strong>of</strong> November, 1912, February, May and August,<br />

<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> present year. At <strong>the</strong> November session one opinion was ren-
