Nineteenth report, by Bro. Frank Maisch, <strong>of</strong> No. 334.<br />

To <strong>the</strong> <strong>Grand</strong> <strong>Lodge</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> State <strong>of</strong> <strong>Illinois</strong>, I. O. O. F.:<br />

Your Committee on State <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Order would respectfully<br />

report as follows<br />

This committee has considered <strong>the</strong> first report <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Special Committee<br />

on Dropped Members, which appears in <strong>the</strong> Daily Journal as<br />

Document No. 40, and recommend that <strong>the</strong> action <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Grand</strong> Master<br />

and <strong>the</strong> committee be approved and that <strong>the</strong> recommendation <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

<strong>Grand</strong> Master and committee concurred in and that <strong>the</strong> plan proposed<br />

by <strong>the</strong> <strong>Grand</strong> Master and <strong>the</strong> iSpecial Committee to obviate <strong>the</strong> great<br />

loss <strong>of</strong> members from dropping for non-payment <strong>of</strong> dues be adopted<br />

and <strong>the</strong> plan and Special Committee be continued by <strong>the</strong> incoming<br />

<strong>of</strong>ficers <strong>of</strong> this <strong>Grand</strong> <strong>Lodge</strong>.<br />

DOCUMENT NO. 101.<br />

To <strong>the</strong> <strong>Grand</strong> <strong>Lodge</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> State <strong>of</strong> <strong>Illinois</strong>, I. O. O. F.:<br />

Resolved, That <strong>the</strong> <strong>Grand</strong> Secretary be instructed to have all new<br />

legislation affecting Subordinate <strong>Lodge</strong>s printed in leaf form and send<br />

<strong>the</strong> same as soon as printed to Subordinate <strong>Lodge</strong> Secretaries, with<br />

instructions that <strong>the</strong>y be pasted in <strong>the</strong> Code for future reference.<br />

To <strong>the</strong> <strong>Grand</strong> <strong>Lodge</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> State <strong>of</strong> <strong>Illinois</strong>, I. O. O. F.:<br />

Your Committee on Home Libraries would respectfully re-<br />

port as follows<br />

:<br />

There has been no particular business pertaining to <strong>the</strong> Libraries<br />

<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Orphans' Home and Old Folks' Home referred to this Commit-<br />

tee, upon which we have been called upon to act.<br />

We recommend that money donations be solicited to maintain a<br />

supply <strong>of</strong> newspapers and magazines for reading rooms, ra<strong>the</strong>r than<br />

miscellaneous books.<br />
