<strong>Riscos</strong> hidrometeorològics (UNISDR, 2009)<br />
Actu<strong>al</strong>ment s’inclou aquí els riscos <strong>de</strong>senvolupats per<br />
processos d’origen atmosfèric, hidrològic o oceanogràfic.<br />
Entre ells es troben els ciclons tropic<strong>al</strong>s, les tempestes, les<br />
pedrega<strong>de</strong>s, tornados, tempestes <strong>de</strong> neu, neva<strong>de</strong>s fortes,<br />
<strong>al</strong>laus, mareja<strong>de</strong>s, inundacions, sequera i ona<strong>de</strong>s <strong>de</strong> c<strong>al</strong>or i<br />
<strong>de</strong> fred.<br />
Les condicions hidrometeorològiques també po<strong>de</strong>n ser un<br />
factor important en <strong>al</strong>tres riscos, com esllavissa<strong>de</strong>s, incendis<br />
forest<strong>al</strong>s, plagues, epidèmies, i el transport i dispersió <strong>de</strong><br />
substàncies tòxiques i <strong>al</strong>tres materi<strong>al</strong>s volcànics.<br />
Conseqüentment, po<strong>de</strong>n <strong>de</strong>senca<strong>de</strong>nar o agreujar <strong>al</strong>tres<br />
riscos geològics i biològics.
