El Tokokachi (en quechua ‘cueva de la<br />
sal’) era uno de los doce barrios del <strong>Cuzco</strong><br />
antiguo. Aquí habrían residido descendientes<br />
de etnias que habitaban la región antes de<br />
Manco Cápac. Hoy es el actual barrio de<br />
San Blas, sede de los principales talleres de<br />
artesanos de la ciudad.<br />
The Tokokachi (“cave of salt” in Quechua)<br />
was one of the twelve neighborhoods of old<br />
<strong>Cuzco</strong>. It is said that the descendents of tribes<br />
living in the region before Manco Cápac would<br />
have resided here. It is currently the seat of the<br />
main artisanal workshops of the city.
