RESIDUOS PELIGROSOS Almacenamiento ALMACENAMIENTO El generador y operador de residuos peligrosos es responsable del almacenamiento seguro, evitando los riesgos para la salud y el ambiente en general. Las características del almacenamiento, debe estar ubicado dentro de un sector específico de la planta, con capacidad de acopio en relación a la generación, presentar carteleria identificatoria, contar con pisos impermeabilizados y con pintura epoxi, bien delimitados y resistentes al tránsito, implementar medidas de seguridad ante derrames mediante sistemas de contención, declives, construcción de cámaras y uso de Kit ante derrames. Asimismo, presentar elementos de lucha contra fuego, y el acceso debe ser restringido al personal autorizado si bien, debe presentar segregación, identificación, orden y accesibilidad dentro del depósito para realizar su fiscalización y control. Los contenedores/recipientes/envases que son compatibles para el almacenamiento de las corrientes de desechos, deben estar siempre bien cerrados y presentar buenas condiciones. Los inspectores, deben realizar inspecciones al sector para detectar fugaz o estados de corrosión en mampostería y es importante, no mezclar residuos peligrosos/especiales con los industriales asimilables a urbanos, para no generar nuevas corrientes o evitar reacciones peligrosas.
