Airport operates daily with domestic and
international arrivals and departures.

where direct flights from Cancun and
other major cities of the country

summertime (April - October) the maximum
high is 36°C (97°F) and during winter
(November - March) the minimum low
is 18°C (64°F). Cancun and the Mayan
Riviera are sunny 253 days a year.
Communications
The main tourist areas have all the facilities,
such as fax and internet service, telephone
services with pre-paid cards or credit cards,
and cellular telephone rental.
• Cellphones: If you need to use your
cell phone, you must ask your service
provider if there are compatible companies
in Mexico, which can provide you service.
There are cell phones for rent per day
for local use. Ask your travel agency
representative; they can help you.

The peso is the official currency.
There are automated teller machines
and money exchange offices in the
shopping malls in Cancun’s hotel zone.

Languages
The official language is Spanish. In the
tourist industry, English, French, Italian,
