En 1986, Ron Rezek tuvo la idea de actualizar los 100 años de edad del ventilador
de techo. Reconocido diseñador industrial con notables logros en áreas que van
desde iluminación al mobiliario o hasta el famoso salvavidas rojo utilizado por
los equipos de rescate a nivel mundial, Rezek vio la oportunidad de introducir
el diseño contemporáneo en esta necesaria pero seria categoría. Treinta años
después, Rezek y The Modern Fan Co. continúan avanzando en el mundo de los
ventiladores de techo con creatividad y pragmatismo.
Modern Fan un nuevo concepto en ventiladores de techo
Modern Fan Company se fundó en 1997 por Ron Rezek con el interés de diseñar
alternativas a lo establecido en el mundo sobre el mercado del ventilador
de techo. Nuestra filosofía es producir ventiladores para que los usuarios se

Conscientemente fresco
Nuestros ventiladores le hacen sentirse confortable mientras le ayuda a reducir
su consumo energético. Como una agradable brisa en un día cálido, moviendo el
aire le ofrece un alivio importante del calor y la humedad (los científicos llaman a
este efecto “refrigeración por evaporación”). Esta refrigeración natural permite
que se pueda ajustar la temperatura del aire acondicionado hasta en 8 grados
menos con el resultado de una reducción energética de hasta un 40%. En muchos
casos, el aire acondicionado puede desconectarse y utilizar solo los ventiladores
con un consumo de electricidad menor que una lámpara incandescente. Esta
reducción de consumo energético es asimismo importante durante las estaciones
frías cuanto los ventiladores se utilizan como ayuda al hacer re-circular el aire
caliente atrapado o estratificado en el techo.

In 1986, Ron Rezek was approached with the idea of updating the 100 year
old ceiling fan. An accomplished industrial designer with notable achievements
in areas from lighting and furniture to the famous red float used by rescue

Modern fan a new concept in ceiling fans
The Modern Fan Company was founded in 1997 by Ron Rezek with the
interest to design alternatives to the established in world of the ceiling fan
market. Our philosophy is to produce ceiling fans that the users can feel
comfortable and that can resolve the aesthetic necessities of the professionals
and the home owners, lovers of the contemporary design. A complete and
exclusive collection of ceiling fans that understand the modern language
through the mechanical simplicity, geometric forms and contemporary

Consciously cool
Our ceiling fans keep you comfortable while helping to reduce energy
consumption. Like a nice breeze on warm day, moving air offers recognizable
relief from heat and humidity (scientists have a term for what´s happening
on your skin – “evaporative cooling”). This “cooling” effect allows for upward
adjustment of your AC thermostat by as much as 8 degrees, resulting in up
to 40% in power consumption. In many cases, air conditioning can be turned

off entirely, while a Modern Fan uses less electricity than a standard bulb.
Additional energy reductions and saving are gained in cooler seasons when
Modern Fans are used to re-circulate heated air that would otherwise remain
