4 Grave (potencialmente fase terminal) discapacidad por enfermedades crónicas
relacionadas con la obesidad, psicopatología severa incapacitante, limitaciones
funcionales graves y/o deterioro grave del bienestar.
Algunos estudios han demostrado una buena capacidad de predecir los
resultados, independientemente de las medidas clásicas de IMC y circunferencia
abdominal (48, 49). Este parece una buena escala para estratificación de riesgos
y para medidas públicas de salud, aunque necesita más estudios para
validación.
