Isaac Albalag:<br />
Traductor y pensador judío <strong>de</strong>l siglo<br />
XIII, originario <strong>de</strong>l norte <strong>de</strong> España<br />
o sur <strong>de</strong> Francia. Traductor no solo<br />
<strong>de</strong> Averroes sino también <strong>de</strong> su<br />
contrincante Al-Ghazzali. Escribió<br />
algunas obras <strong>de</strong> importancia, la más<br />
conocida es su Sefer Tikkun ha De’ot<br />
(el libro <strong>de</strong> las doctrinas verda<strong>de</strong>ras).<br />
Joseph ibn Caspi<br />
Exégeta bíblico, gramático y filósofo,<br />
nació en 1280 en Provenza. Se sabe<br />
hasta la fecha que escribió más <strong>de</strong><br />
veinte obras en torno a varios temas.<br />
También es el autor <strong>de</strong> Ammu<strong>de</strong> Kesef<br />
and Maskiyyot Kesef , un comentario<br />
sobre la Guía <strong>de</strong> los perplejos <strong>de</strong><br />
Maimómi<strong>de</strong>s (32).<br />
Se pue<strong>de</strong> añadir a la lista los nombres <strong>de</strong><br />
Moshé ibn Joshua <strong>de</strong> Narboni conocido<br />
por su «rígida ortodoxia averroísta»,<br />
nacido en 1300 en la localidad<br />
<strong>de</strong> Perpignan en Francia, y Elijah<br />
Delmedigo quien vivió en entre 1460 a<br />
1493, y cuyo trabajo más conocido es<br />
Behinat ha-Dat (Indagaciones sobre la<br />
religión) (Oliver Leaman: 2001).<br />
