en jade néphrite vert épinard. Le décor, sculpté en relief, déroule sur le pourtour un paysage dans la tradition des peintures
taoïstes. Parmi pics rocheux, bambous, bananiers et pins de longévité, évoluent six lettrés accompagnés de deux disciples.
Deux d’entre eux se tiennent près d’une table de calligraphe où reposent pierre à encre et pitong ; un disciple leur sert
du thé ; un troisième sage se tient devant un pavillon, tandis qu’un peu plus loin, deux autres sont en conversation.
Le dernier boit du thé, suivi de son disciple. Le bord est sculpté de nuages stylisés.
Chine, période Qing.

Il repose sur une sellette en bois sculpté de motifs de ruyi
stylisé et chauve-souris, sur cinq pieds en forme de ruyi.

A large spinach green jade brush-pot. The decoration, carved in relief around the perimeter depicts a landscape in the Taoist tradition of painting.
Among rocky peaks, bamboo, banana trees and pines of longevity, are six scholars accompanied by two disciples. Two of them are standing
near a calligraphy table on which there is an ink stone and a bitong ; one disciple is serving tea, a third wise man is standing in front of a pavilion
and a little further away the two others are in conversation. The last one is drinking tea, followed by his disciple. The rim is carved with stylised clouds.
China, Qing period.
It rests on a wooden stand carved with stylised ruyi and bats, with five feet in the shape of ruyi.
