Warning:<br />

► Always disconnect the mains plug before cleaning.<br />

► Do not immerse the device into water for cleaning. This<br />

could cause electric shock or fire.<br />

Caution:<br />

► Do not use wire brushes or other abrasive objects.<br />

► Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents.<br />

• Remove the mixing container for a more thorough cleaning.<br />

• Disassemble the mixer after each use.<br />

Warning: Risk of injury!<br />

The blades of the blade assembly are very sharp. Be careful<br />

when disassembling, cleaning or mounting single parts.<br />

• Unfasten the screw cap clockwise from the carafe.<br />

• Remove the sealing ring from the screw cap.<br />

Carafe (13) and lid (12)<br />

• Clean the carafe and lid in warm soapy water.<br />

Sealing ring (14) and blade assembly (15)<br />

• Only rinse shortly under hot water.<br />

• After cleaning and drying, assemble your mixer in reverse<br />

order.<br />

Mixing bowl and accessories<br />

• Remove the mixing bowl for you to remove residue on the<br />

drive shaft.<br />

• Clean detachable parts that have been stained by dough in<br />

soapy water.<br />

Caution:<br />

The parts are not suitable for dishwasher cleaning. The parts<br />

could warp or discolor under influence of heat and aggressive<br />

cleaning agents.<br />

Enclosure<br />

• Use a slightly damp cloth for cleaning the surface of the<br />

device.<br />

Troubleshooting<br />

• Device not functioning.<br />

Solution:<br />

Check the mains connection.<br />

Other possible causes:<br />

Your device is equipped with two safety switches.<br />

They prevent the accidental start of the motor.<br />

Solution:<br />

Check for correct position of the<br />

○ pivoting arm (1)<br />

○ mixing container (13) or<br />

○ safety lid (7).<br />

Overheat protection<br />

• The device features an overheat protection system. In case<br />

of overcharge, this system will be triggered. The device will<br />

then not be ready for operation. Disconnect the plug from<br />

the mains.<br />

• Let the device cool down completely, and<br />

only then press the reset button on the<br />

bottom of the device (see fig.) in order to<br />

use the kitchen machine again.<br />
