La CMOOA Ga<strong>le</strong>rie a ouvert ses portes <strong>le</strong> 16 juin 2009 au cœur<br />
du quartier de l’Agdal, dans un local exceptionnel.<br />
Ouverte sur l’art contemporain, la ga<strong>le</strong>rie a choisi une<br />
scénographie moderne pour créer l’interaction <strong>en</strong>tre <strong>le</strong>s artistes qui<br />
investiront son espace. Ainsi, <strong>le</strong>s artistes marocains y seront exposés<br />
aux côtés de <strong>le</strong>urs pairs internationaux, <strong>le</strong>s jeunes ta<strong>le</strong>nts côtoieront<br />
des artistes confirmés.<br />
Le choix artistique de la direction se porte sur une sé<strong>le</strong>ction<br />
d’œuvres majeures d’<strong>en</strong>vergure internationa<strong>le</strong>. La col<strong>le</strong>ction<br />
d’art contemporain de la CMOOA Ga<strong>le</strong>rie rassemb<strong>le</strong> <strong>le</strong>s œuvres<br />
des artistes marocains contemporains <strong>le</strong>s plus marquants de ces<br />
dernières déc<strong>en</strong>nies mais éga<strong>le</strong>m<strong>en</strong>t cel<strong>le</strong>s des fondateurs de l’art<br />
moderne au Maroc tels que Cherkaoui, Gharbaoui, Miloud…<br />
Par souci de diversité culturel<strong>le</strong>, la ga<strong>le</strong>rie expose éga<strong>le</strong>m<strong>en</strong>t<br />
des œuvres d’artistes du Maghreb, du monde arabe et d’Occid<strong>en</strong>t.<br />
