LETTRE DU PRÉSIDENT DE LA SFA Annual Congress
SFA President letter
Bienvenue à Lille Grand Palais pour ce 33ème congrès annuel de la SFA sous la présidence d’Hugues
Charles. Nous accueillons cette année la Pologne qui s’est largement impliquée dans le programme et
je les en remercie.
Merci à Hervé Thomazeau et son adjoint Gilbert Versier, nos secrétaires scientifiques, qui ont travaillé
toute l’année pour vous offrir un programme de rêve. Nous vous proposons cette année 5 conférences
de très grande qualité animées par Andrew Amis, Joshua Dines, Didier Mainard, Robert Smigielsky et
Mikel Sanchez ! Les deux symposia seront, encore plus que d’habitude, les temps forts du congrès.
David Dejour et Vincent Chassaing nous passionneront avec l’instabilité rotulienne objective, Philippe
Hardy et Pierre-Henri Flurin nous donneront les clés de la rupture de coiffe après 70 ans.
L’actualité sera très présente, «arthroscopie et ambulatoire », animée par Christophe Hulet et «PRP et
arthroscopie», par Geoffroy Nourissat. Abdou Sbihi vous fera découvrir toutes les facettes de notre site
internet qui est notre place publique. La session controverse portera sur un débat quotidien : «faut-il opérer
ou pas une première luxation de l’épaule ?». Trois sessions « Comment je fais ?» une réparation méniscale
par Konrad Slynarski, une résection acromio-claviculaire par Didier Ollat, et un Bankart avec comblement
de l’encoche par Pascal Boileau. La richesse de notre congrès, c’est aussi, et surtout, les communications
particulières, qui sont une tribune offerte pour faire partager nos expériences. Téléchargez sur vos IPhones

Welcome in Lille Grand Palais for this 33rd annual congress of the SFA under the Presidency of Hugues
Charles.
I would first like to thank Poland, our guest this year, who widely participated to the programme.
I also want to thank Hervé Thomazeau and his assistant Gilbert Versier, our scientific secretaries, who
worked all year to offer you the programme of your dreams. We are proposing this year 5 high quality
conferences animated by Andrew Amis, Joshua Dines, Didier Mainard, Robert Smigielsky and Mikel Sanche !
The two symposia will be, more than ever, the highlights of the congress. David Dejour and Vincent Chassaing
will passionate us with the patellar instability, Philippe Hardy and Pierre-Henri Flurin will give us the keys of
Rotator cuff after 70 years.
Topical issues will be highly treated, “out-patient based arthroscopy”, animated by Christophe Hulet and
“PRP and arthroscopy”, by Geoffroy Nourissat. Abdou Sbihi will make you discover all the different faces
of our website which is our public space. The controversy session will be about a daily debate: “Does a first
shoulder dislocation need surgery?” Three sessions “How do I do?” a meniscal repair by Konrad Slynarski,
an acromio-clavicular resection by Didier Ollat and a Bankart with Hill-Sachs notch remplissage by Pascal
Boileau. The richness of our congress is also and mostly the particular presentations which are specially
