BPD Letter - Bayer CropScience

98/8/EC: Biocidal Products Directive (BPD) dossier submission
We are pleased to confirm that Bayer Environmental Science submitted the
following active substance dossiers (with associated products) to the relevant
Rapporteur Member States before the deadline of April 30 th to defend their uses
under PT18 (insecticides) according to the BPD:
• Deltamethrin (i.e. K-Othrine ® )
• Imidacloprid (i.e. Maxforce ® White IC, Quick Bayt ® )
• Cyfluthrin (i.e. Solfac ® )
• Triflumuron (i.e. Baycidal ® )
• Bendiocarb (i.e. Ficam ® )
• Transfluthrin
For information, Bayer Environmental Science is the only company to have
submitted a BPD dossier for the above insecticides.
Bayer Environmental Science also contributed the product dossier for AquaPy ® to
complete the Natural Pyrethrum dossier submitted by the Kenya Pyrethrum Board.
As a reminder the following dossiers were submitted in 2004 for review for uses
under PT14 (rodenticides) and are in the process of being reviewed:
• Coumatetralyl (i.e. Racumin ® )
• Rodilon ® Paste to complete the Difethialone dossier submitted by
Liphatech
