Die Rottendorf Pharma GmbH ist ein erfahrener und kompetenter

ohne eigene Produkte auf dem Markt bieten wir Ihnen besten

Unser in Ennigerloh ansässiges Unternehmen wurde 1928 in Berlin
als Familienbetrieb gegründet und gehört seit 1971 einer gemeinnützigen
Stiftung. Zu unseren Unternehmenszielen zählen
wir daher neben dem Markterfolg auch ein ausgeprägtes soziales
Engagement und die Förderung wissenschaftlichen Nachwuchses.
Hierfür wurde beispielsweise der Rottendorf-Lehrstuhl an der

Die Rottendorf Pharma GmbH hat eine eigenständige Tochtergesellschaft,
Rottendorf Pharma S.A.S., mit Sitz in Valenciennes/

Our company, based in Ennigerloh, was founded in 1928 in Berlin

1.02 Einwaage | Central Weighing Area | Pesée
Die Einwaage erfolgt in fünf separaten
Wiegekabinen. Jeder Arbeitsschritt wird
dabei umfangreich dokumentiert. Roh -
stoff- und Rezepturinformationen sind im
System hinterlegt und durch Barcodeabfrage
gesichert. Pro Wiegekabine wird immer
nur ein Material bearbeitet. Durch die
Luftführung und arbeitsplatzbezogene Absaugungen
wer den Staubexplosionen und
Konta mi na tionsrisiken vermieden. Hochwirksame
Substanzen werden unter einem
Laminar-Flow verwogen.
Initial weighing is carried out in five separate
weighing cabins. Each operating step
is extensively documented. Raw materials
and formula information are stored in the
IT system and protected by a bar code key.
Only one material is processed per cabin
at any one time. Dust explosions and contamination
risks are avoided by the air flow
pattern and the workplace-related extraction
systems. Highly potent substances are
weighed in a laminar flow cabinet.

Chaque opération fait appel à une documentation
très importante. Les formules
permettant de réaliser les pesées sont
stockées dans la base de données de notre
système informatisé. De plus, les matières
premières sont identifiées lors de cette
opération grâce à la gestion des pesées
par code barre. Dans chacun de ces box
seules les matières premières d´un produit
sont pesées à la fois. Des hottes aspirantes
adaptées au poste de travail et le modèle
d´extraction d´air permettent d´éviter les
risques d’explosions et de contaminations.
Les pesées de substances hautement actives
se font sous flux laminaire.

1.03 Granulation | Granulation | Granulation
Die Wirbelschichtgranulation ist ein Standardverfahren, das
in vielen Dossiers vorgeschrieben wird. In unserer Produktion
stehen hierfür vier Glatt-GPCG Wirbelschichtgranulatoren
mit Kapazitäten von 10 bis 300 kg zur Verfügung. Neben der
Sprühgranulation ist auch eine Trocknung von Granulaten aus
unseren Diosna-Granulatoren möglich, die in allen relevanten
Größen vorhanden sind. Granulationsansätze von 5 bis 250 kg
pro Ansatz können problemlos realisiert werden. Durch diese
Abstufungen sind unsere Kunden zu einem einfachen Produkttransfer
in der Lage. Unterschiedliche Chargengrößen lassen
sich dabei validieren.
Der VAC 600 (Vakuumgranulation) bietet nicht nur die Möglichkeit
zur Anwendung des Eintopfverfahrens unter Vakuum,
sondern auch zur exakten Steuerung aller Pro zessschritte der
Feuchtgranulation im Schnellmischer. Hierbei wird Wasser,
Aceton, Isopropanol oder Ethanol eingesetzt.
Unsere Abluftreinigungsanlage garantiert die Einhaltung aller
gesetzlichen Umweltbestimmungen. Der Explosionsschutz
in den Produktionsräumen ist jederzeit gewährleistet. Für die
Trockengranulation verwenden wir Gerteis-Kompaktoren.

Diosna VAC 600
The fluid bed granulation is a standard granulating method
that is specified in many dossiers. Rottendorf Pharma can offer
its customers four Glatt GPCG fluid bed granulators with
capacities varying from 10 to 300 kg. In addition to the spray
granulation, we can also dry granular material from our Diosna
granulators, these being available in all relevant sizes.
Granulation lots of 5 to 250 kg per lot can be produced without
difficulty. These scales enable our customers an easy product
transfer. Batches of varying sizes can thereby be validated.
The VAC 600 (vacuum granulation) not only offers the possibility
of the one-pot technology under vacuum but also the
exact control of all process steps of the wet granulation in a
high-speed mixer. For this, water, acetone, isopropyl alcohol or
ethyl alcohol is used.
Our exhaust air treatment system ensures the adherence to
all legal environmental regulations. The explosion protection
in the production rooms is guaranteed at all times. We use
Gerteis compactors for the dry granulation.

L´utilisation d´un lit d´air fluidisé est un mode opératoire
de granulation standard décrit dans de nombreux dossiers
d´AMM. Avec quatre Glatt GPCG granulateurs à lit d’air fluidisé
Rottendorf Pharma propose à ses clients des capacités
allant de 10 à 300 kg. En plus de notre équipement de granulation
par pulvérisation de type top spray nous possédons
également des granulateurs Diosna pour toutes les tailles. Des
lots de 5 à 250 kg peuvent être réalisés sans problème. Cet
éventail de capacité facilite la transposition industrielle ainsi
que la validation de différentes tailles de lots.
Le VAC 600 (granulation sous vide) permet de réaliser des granulations
et séchages intégrés ainsi que le contrôle exact des
étapes du procès de granulation humide dans un mélangeur à
haute vitesse. Acétone, alcool isopropylique ou alcool éthylique
sont utilisés pour la granulation humide.
Notre système de traitement de nos émanations nous assure
un respect des réglementations environnementales à long
terme. Nos salles de production sont à tout moment protégées
contre les explosions. Nous utilisons des compacteurs Gerteis
pour la granulation sèche.

1.04 Mischen | Blending | Mélange
Container des Bohle-Systems stehen mit
Volumina zwischen 5 und 2.000 l zur Ver-
fügung. Dementsprechend sind Chargen-
größen bis zu 1.000 kg realisierbar. Die
Mischbehälter werden zum internen Trans-
port genutzt und unmittelbar auf die Tablettenpressen
gesetzt. Darüber hinaus
können die Container bei der Wirbel-
schichtgranulation, der Entladung der
Schnellmischer sowie bei Siebtechniken
in Verbindung mit adaptierten Handling-
systemen eingesetzt werden. Im Mittelpunkt
steht die Vermeidung von Cross-Kontami-
nationen in allen Arbeitsschritten und damit
der Schutz der Mitarbeiter vor Stäuben.
Für Zwangsmischungen können Lödige-Mischer
von 5 bis 1.200 l genutzt werden.

for high shear blends ranging between 5

contaminations croisées pendant toutes les
étapes opératoires et de protéger les opérateurs
des émanations de poussières. Pour
les mélanges forcés nous utilisons des mélangeurs
Lödige de 5 à 1.200 litres.

eine gekoppelte 100%-Verwiegung mittels

Eine Kombination von Tabletten
und Pulver in einer Kapsel und die Befüllung
mit Pellets sind problemlos möglich.
The hard gelatine capsules are filled by
high-performance Bosch GKF 1400 machines
and this process controlled reliably
by a linked precise capsule balance with a
100% weight check. The combination of
tablets and powder in one capsule and the
filling with pellets are possible without any
problems.

zur Verfügung. Für besondere
Rezepturen werden zusätzlich konventionelle
Pressen verwendet. Aufgrund der
Vielfalt unserer Produkte arbeiten wir mit
mehr als 400 verschiedenen Werkzeugsätzen.
Die meisten Werkzeuge entsprechen
dem Euro-B bzw. Euro-D Format. Die
Misch container werden mit Hubgeräten
auf die Maschinen gesetzt, um so eine
Chargenhomogenität sicherzustellen und
Staubexpositionen zu vermeiden. Auch für

capacities with computer-controlled
high-speed rotary presses, placed in 22
separate cabins. Conventional presses are
additionally used for the production of
special formulations. Due to the large variety
of our products, we have more than
400 tabletting tools on stock. Most of the
tools have the format Euro-B or Euro D. The
blending containers are mounted onto the
machines with help of lifting equipment to
ensure the batch homogeneity and to avoid
dust exposures. Rottendorf Pharma is also
your professional partner in the field of

Beim Filmcoating arbeiten wir sowohl auf
Wasserbasis als auch mit organischen Lösungsmitteln.
Oberstes Gebot ist stets die
präzise Steuerung und Dokumentation
aller wesentlichen Verfahrensparameter
des Coating-Prozesses. Einsatzgrößen bis
zu 750 kg sind möglich. Außerdem sind wir
in der Lage, im konventionellen Topspray-
verfahren im Kessel auch Kleinstchargen zu
produ zieren.
For film coating, we both work with aqueous
solutions and with organic solvents.
The top priority is the precise control and
documentation of all essential process parameters
during the coating process. Lot
sizes of up to 750 kg can be manufactured.
Furthermore, we are also able to produce
minimum sized batches using the conventional
top-spray method in vessels.

Pour le pelliculage nous maîtrisons l´utilisation
des solutions aqueuses comme celle
des solvants organiques. La priorité durant
cette opération de pelliculage est le contrôle
précis et la documentation des principaux
paramètres du procédé de pelliculage. Nous
sommes capables de produire des tailles de
lot jusqu´à 750 kg. Nous avons également
la possibilité de produire des lots de taille
inférieure grâce au processus conventionnel
Topspray.

Um unseren Kunden ein Höchstmaß an

dernste Dragiertechnologien. Rottendorf
Pharma hat – orientiert am Vorbild der manuellen
Dragierung – Kesselanlagen ent-
wickelt, die durch variable Prozessparameter
einfach an die spezifischen Herstellungsverfahren
der Kunden angepasst werden
können.
Die Kombination automatischer und manueller
Arbeitsschritte ist gewährleistet. Alle
Kessel können mit unterschiedlichen Sus -
pen sionen beschickt werden. Ansatz grö-
ßen von 30 bis 300 kg sowie Drageechargengrößen
bis zu 1.000 kg sind rea li-
sierbar.

quality. Based on the model of manual
sugar coating, Rottendorf Pharma has developed
coating facilities which can simply
be adjusted to the specific manufacturing
procedures of the customer via variable

Zum Leistungsportfolio der Rottendorf
Pharma gehört neben der Entwicklung
und dem Upscaling auch die kommerzielle
Pro duktion von Pellets. Die Herstellung
wirkstoffhaltiger Pellets erfolgt mit dem
Aeromatic Nicatrain-System in Verbindung
mit dem Extruder E220 und dem Spheronizer
S 700. Das funktionelle Coating wird
im Wurster-Verfahren ausgeführt, im Aeromatic
Precision Coater MP 4/5 oder auch
im Aeromatic MP 3/4.
In addition to the development and upscaling
of pellets, Rottendorf Pharma's range of
services also includes the commercial production
of pellets. Pellets containing active
substances are manufactured using the

focuses on smaller and flexible units to
minimise costs for changeover times. Double-sided

We have a Leistritz Twin Screw Extruder ZSE
18 HP for the extrusion and also the melt
extrusion processes. Solids and liquids can

With the ZSE 18 we are in the position to

first production outputs. Investments
in larger production equipment are made
according to capacity requirements, enabling
the further expansion in this highly
interesting technology.

Für die Abfüllung von Pulvern und Granulaten
steht eine Abfülllinie Optima Linoline
60 zur Verfügung. Füllmengen von 1 bis 250
Gramm sind gegeben, und die Verwendung
von Verschlüssen zwischen 20 und 50 mm
Durchmesser ist problemlos möglich. Zudem
lassen sich Flaschen in einem großen Volumenbereich,
aber auch mit vielen unterschiedlichen
Formen verarbeiten.
Die Flaschenmündungen werden mit einer
Kamera auf Unversehrtheit geprüft und die
Gewichte der abgefüllten Produkte zu 100%
kontrolliert. Der Verschließvorgang, mit
oder ohne Induktionssiegel, wird vollständig
überwacht. Maßstäbe setzt das Raumkonzept
mit einer vollständigen Trennung des
Granulat-, Abfüll- und Palettierbereichs.

filling of powders and granulate. Filling volumes
from 1 up to 250 grams can be processed
and caps between 20 and 50 mm diameter
can be used without any difficulty.
In addition to this, a large variation of bottle
volumes and of different bottle forms can
be processed.
The bottle necks are checked using a camera
to ensure they are intact and the weight of
the filled product is checked to 100%. The
sealing process, either with or without induction
capping, is monitored completely.
The room design concept sets new standards,
separating the granulate, the filling
and the palletising areas completely.

large pilot plant is available at our site in
Ennigerloh/Germany. In this plant, we can
manufacture small-scale and submission
batches for marketing authorisation under
GMP conditions. Paired with a reliable upscaling,
we thus guarantee a sure and successful
product development.
The entire spectrum of all production
technologies is also available for pilot
and upscaling batches.

dans une nouvelle usine pilote de 1.200 m 2 ,
créée à notre site à Ennigerloh. En assurant le
changement d’échelles nous garantissons le
succès du développement de vos produits.
