The radio module (white box) must not be screwed to<br />

the un<strong>de</strong>rsi<strong>de</strong> of the hob or to an oven or cooker!<br />

The cable of the radio module EI 7800 must not come into<br />

contact with the un<strong>de</strong>rsi<strong>de</strong> of the hob, oven, cooker, or<br />

any other built-in appliance.<br />

Position the radio module so that it is as far as possible from<br />

any metal components. Ensure that no metal components, or<br />

as few as possible, are present in the transmission path between<br />

the radio module and the cooker hood antenna.<br />

Secure the radio module un<strong>de</strong>rneath the work surface in<br />

such a way that the Conctivity stick can be plugged in<br />

easily.<br />

Disconnect the hob from the mains electricity supply.<br />

Plug in the Conctivity stick.<br />

Reconnect the appliance to the electricity supply.<br />

Sign the hob on as <strong>de</strong>scribed in the operating and installation<br />

instructions for the hob.<br />

If a connection cannot be established after signing on, this<br />

could be due to a "<strong>de</strong>ad spot". Try placing the radio module<br />

in another position.<br />

(EI 7800) is in compliance with the standard requirements<br />

and other relevant regulations of Directive 1999/5/EC.<br />
