La ménopause touche actuellement 10 millions de femmes en France avec 400 000 nouveaux cas par an. L’impact de ce manque hormonal, surtout au niveau vulvo-vaginal peut être certes contrebalancé par l’action des traitements hormonaux substitutifs de la ménopause (THM) mais ces traitements ont des contre-indications formelles, dont notamment, les cancers du sein.
