Lexique<br />
Tous nos tapis, poufs et tabourets sont faits de façon artisanale. Des irrégularités de tissage ou de<br />
fabrication confèrent à nos produits leur caractère unique.<br />
Les tapis noués main est la technique la plus ancienne. Cette technique était<br />
principalement utilisée pour les tapis d’Orient, mais on l’utilise de plus en<br />
plus aujourd’hui pour confectionner des tapis en matières nobles telles que la<br />
soie ou la laine.<br />
Les tapis tissés main offrent de larges possibilités de dessins. Si cette technique<br />
était principalement utilisée pour les produits en fibres végétales (jonc de mer,<br />
coco, sisal…), on l’applique aujourd’hui également pour la fabrication de tapis<br />
en laine, en coton, en cuir ou en différentes combinaisons de mix matières.<br />
C’est la technique la plus récente. Cette technique est basée sur les techniques<br />
de fabrication de couvre-lits brodés. Les fils sont piqués à travers l’étoffe support.<br />
La technique du tuftage ressemble beaucoup à celle du nouage mais le<br />
nœud est fait à l’aide d’un instrument spécial.<br />

Entretien<br />
Passer l’aspirateur régulièrement sur le tapis car il<br />
fera au début des bourres provenant des restes de<br />
fibres coupées. Il est conseillé d’enlever les taches<br />
tout de suite, dans la mesure du possible. En règle<br />
générale, essayez de les éliminer d’abord avec de<br />
l’eau chaude et un chiffon propre. Vous enlèverez<br />
les taches de liquide très facilement avec un papier<br />
absorbant. La plupart des taches partent avec un<br />
shampooing pour tapis. Les taches de graisse s’enlèvent<br />
avec du savon de Marseille. Votre tapis ne<br />
doit pas être nettoyé chimiquement.<br />
