Deactivating the<br />
buttons on the<br />
subwoofer<br />
(Child Lock)<br />
You can deactivate the buttons<br />
on the subwoofer (except ) to<br />
prevent misoperation, such as child<br />
mischief.<br />
Hold down on the subwoofer for<br />
more than 3 seconds.<br />
“CHILD” and “LOCK ON” appear on the<br />
display.<br />
You can only operate the system using<br />
the buttons on the remote control.<br />
To turn off the Child Lock function,<br />
hold down on the subwoofer for<br />
more than 3 seconds until “CHILD” and<br />
“LOCK OFF” appear on the display.<br />
Note<br />
Child Lock function will be turned off<br />
automatically when you disconnect the<br />
power cord.<br />
Setting the automatic<br />
standby function<br />
This system is equipped with an<br />
automatic standby function. With<br />
this function, the system enters<br />
standby mode automatically in<br />
about 15 minutes when there is no<br />
operation and no audio signal is<br />
detected.<br />
By default, the automatic standby<br />
function is turned on.<br />
1 Press OPTIONS.<br />
2 Press / repeatedly to select<br />
“AutoSTBY,” then press .<br />
3 Press / repeatedly to select<br />
“ON” or “OFF.”<br />
Notes<br />
ˎˎThe message “AutoSTBY” flashes on the<br />
display about 2 minutes before entering<br />
standby mode.<br />
ˎˎThe automatic standby function does<br />
not work in the tuner function.<br />
ˎˎThe system may not enter standby<br />
mode automatically in the following<br />
cases:<br />
ˋˋ<br />
when an audio signal is detected.<br />
ˋˋ<br />
during playback of audio files.<br />
ˋˋ<br />
while the preset Play Timer or Sleep<br />
Timer is in process.<br />
