Settings and Adjustments<br />

Playing Sources Automatically<br />

(auto play)<br />

The AUTO PLAY function lets you set the amplifier to<br />

start playing the programme sources immediately after<br />

they are selected from the FUNCTION SELECT menu.<br />

The amplifier comes with AUTO PLAY set to ON.<br />

1 Click FUNCTION in the main menu.<br />

The FUNCTION SELECT menu appears.<br />

2 Click SET UP.<br />

3 Click AUTO PLAY ON or OFF to select auto play<br />

on or off.<br />

Starting a Source<br />

Automatically at Power On<br />

(auto start)<br />

The AUTO S<strong>TA</strong>RT function lets you set the amplifier to<br />

start playing a specific programme source immediately<br />

whenever you turn on the amplifier.<br />

1 Click FUNCTION in the main menu.<br />

The FUNCTION SELECT menu appears.<br />

2 Click AUTO.<br />

The AUTO S<strong>TA</strong>RT SETTING screen appears.<br />

Click EXIT.<br />

To go to the previous menu<br />

Notes<br />

• If you select another component during playback, the<br />

current component stops and the newly selected<br />

component starts playing.<br />

• The AUTO PLAY function does not work when you<br />

operate the amplifier using the controls on the front panel.<br />

• The AUTO PLAY function may not work for components<br />

with poor remote control response. If you experience this,<br />

reposition the IR repeater closer to that component to<br />

facilitate reception of the IR command codes.<br />

3 Click the component you want to start playing<br />

automatically when the amplifier is turned on.<br />

Only one programme source can be selected.<br />

To automatically start the component played last the<br />

next time you turn on the amplifier<br />

Click LAST.<br />

To execute a macro automatically when you turn on<br />

the amplifier<br />

Click MACRO 1 or MACRO 2 when the AUTO PLAY<br />

function is ON and the programme source is specified<br />

in the MACRO PLAY setting (see page 35).<br />

When LAST is specified, the programme source last<br />

played will turn on automatically the next time you<br />

turn on the amplifier.<br />

To cancel the AUTO S<strong>TA</strong>RT function<br />

Click NO SET in step 3.<br />

AUTO S<strong>TA</strong>RT will not operate when you turn on the<br />

amplifier.<br />

To return to the main menu<br />

Click EXIT.<br />

To go to the previous menu<br />

Click RETURN.<br />

Note<br />

Macros containing the ALL OFF command (see page 35)<br />

cannot be selected for use with the AUTO S<strong>TA</strong>RT function.<br />
