In March 2015, the Paris gallery moved to
the heart of the Golden Triangle, a few
steps away from the Palais de l’Élysée.
Curated collections, unique thematic and
monographic exhibitions are displayed
on 1000 square meters and on two levels
in this exceptional location: Roger & Gallet’s
perfume house in 1932. The whole of Paris
used to rush there to discover the automatons
animating the windows as well as the original
collaborations with the artists Alfons Mucha,
Fabien Fabiano or even Mathurin Méheut.
In 1991, this Art Deco style building became
one of the top fashion venues thanks to the
pioneering genius Gianni Versace, who made
it the first flagship of its kind. Today, Opera
Gallery is giving a new life and momentum to
this unique space while respecting its history,
making it the French setting for its Modern and
Contemporary Art collections.
Opera Gallery brings together a prestigious
international collection of works by masters
from the Impressionists to American Pop
Art, not forgetting Post-war Abstraction and
Figuration Libre. The artists Pablo Picasso,
Marc Chagall, Alexander Calder, Andy Warhol,
Keith Haring, Hans Hartung and Pierre Soulages
are there exhibited... The group also displays
Contemporary artists from all over the world,
both emerging and established, such as Fernando
Botero, André Brasilier, Manolo Valdés, Georg
Baselitz, Andy Denzler, David Kim Whittaker,
Anthony James thus offering a diversity of media
and artistic approaches.
