ALGAE FOAM TAILPADS
BLOOM transforms air and water pollution into a renewable
composite material. By harvesting algae from contaminated
waters, BLOOM creates a petroleum free, organic and
renewable material that we are able to use in place of virgin
materials in the contsruction of our tailpads.

What happpens to worn out shoe sand car tires at the end
of their lifecycle? In most cases, they become landfill, never
really breaking down, destined to sit in a pile on this earth for
millenia. In this case, they become a more environmentally
sustainable approach to griptape and EVA foam.
GRIPTAPE
Globe and Slant range in various grits and aesthetics.
Our basic black griptape uses high grade silicon carbide
while rugged grip tuned for downhill speed utilizes much
thicker, sharper grit for locked-in footing. Clear griptape is
micro-perforated and impressively clear. And graphic printed
griptape is formulated for long-lasting vibrance.

plys. Moulded with Super Sap®, a USDA
certified bio-based resin made with
recycled industrial waste and renewable
raw materials. A lower velocity construction
without sacrificing performance.
Epoxy resin is used to press all of our boards
which make them lighter, stronger, and longer
lasting than normal water-based decks.
The natural coconut fibers found on these
boards allow us to use less maple wood
for an eco-friendly deck that leaves a
smaller carbon footprint. Coconuts are
readily available, the husk requires minimal
processing and they come from selfsustaining
crops.
The fastest growing “tree” on earth, bamboo
is harder and a little stiffer than hard rock
maple. The harvesting process doesn’t
require replanting and crops mature many
times over in the span it takes maple
trees to grow.
