Sebagai negara berpenduduk sebanyak 240 juta jiwa, dengan pertumbuhan kelompok kelas menengah yang pesat diiringi pendapatan yang meningkat, perekonomian Indonesia mengandalkan pasar domestik yang besar dan konsumsi rumah tangga yang tinggi, dimana keduanya memicu pertumbuhan ekonomi dalam kisaran 6% per tahun selama beberapa tahun terakhir. Pasar Indonesia menawarkan peluang pertumbuhan yang menjanjikan bagi bisnis perbankan yang terposisikan secara strategis seperti <strong>Commonwealth</strong> <strong>Bank</strong> Indonesia. Guna meraih peluang tersebut, <strong>Bank</strong> telah merumuskan strategi yang disebut Strategi Empat Pilar. <strong>Bank</strong> melayani para nasabah melalui empat lini bisnis, yaitu: layanan Wealth Management, Retail <strong>Bank</strong>ing, UKM, dan Wholesale <strong>Bank</strong>ing. Keempat lini bisnis tersebut merupakan landasan dari Strategi Empat Pilar <strong>Bank</strong>. Pilar bisnis pertama kami adalah layanan Wealth Management, yang dimulai pada tahun 1990, dan sejak itu terus berkembang serta berhasil membangun reputasi sebagai penyedia layanan Wealth Management terkemuka di Indonesia. Everyone at <strong>Commonwealth</strong> <strong>Bank</strong> Indonesia is guided by the <strong>Bank</strong>’s vision, and the <strong>Bank</strong> continues to pursue a clear strategy of growth for the benefit of its stakeholders. Dear Shareholders, I am pleased to report that through the determination and commitment of the men and women of <strong>Commonwealth</strong> <strong>Bank</strong> Indonesia, working capably and enthusiastically under the strong leadership of the Management, the <strong>Bank</strong> is a step closer to realising our vision to be the finest financial services organisation in Indonesia through excelling in customer service. The <strong>Bank</strong>’s strategy that focuses on the development of key market segments has yielded solid returns. The <strong>Bank</strong> is now in a much stronger position to capitalise on Indonesia’s rapidly growing economy. As a nation with a huge population of some 240 million, and a rapidly expanding middle-class group with growing income, the Indonesian economy relies on its huge domestic market and household consumption, both of which have been fuelling economic growth in the range of 6% per annum over the past several years. The Indonesian market offers significant growth opportunities for a well-positioned banking franchise such as <strong>Commonwealth</strong> <strong>Bank</strong> Indonesia. To pursue this growth, the <strong>Bank</strong> has laid out a strategy called the Four-Pillars Strategy. The <strong>Bank</strong> serves its customers through four business lines: Wealth Management services, Retail <strong>Bank</strong>ing, SME <strong>Bank</strong>ing, and Wholesale <strong>Bank</strong>ing. In fact, these are the foundations of the <strong>Bank</strong>’s four-pillar business strategy.
