PREFACE
The publication of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of Aceh 2006 – 2009 is a
sequential issue from the previous publication.
This publication provides a review on economic of Aceh visualized by graphic and
table. In the appendix, the figures of regional income are provided from year 2006 up until
year 2009 based on market price and the 2000 constant price. To accomplish the review, the
concept, definition, and methodology of GRDP by sector and expenditure are also provided.
Some of the 2009 figures are still in very provisional version. It is due to the
incompleteness records so that they have to be estimated. Its Idicators will be completed at
next publication.
This GRDP could be published under joint cooperation between Badan Pusat
Statistik and BAPPEDA Aceh. In this occasion we would like to express our gratitude to
everyone who provides their data or other things to make this publication available for users.
Finally, any criticisms and suggestions for the future improvement are welcome. It is
a hope that this publication will be useful.
