Taula hon<strong>eta</strong>n R.L. Politzer-ek hiru motatako behavior-ak aipatzen ditu:<br />

orokorrak (general), ikasgelakoak (classroom) <strong>eta</strong> elkarreraginezkoak<br />

(interaction). Beraz, R.L. Politzer-ek orokorren artean hauek sartu ditu:<br />

«1. When doing a reading assigment, I took up every unfamiliar word in a<br />

paragraph before trying to make out the meaning of the paragraph.<br />

2. When looking up a word in a dictionary, I concentrate on understanding<br />

only the meaning relevant to the reading context.<br />

3. When reading in the FL, I stop to make comparisons between the<br />

structures of the FL and those of English.<br />

4. When doing a reading assignment, I try to get the general meaning of a<br />

paragraph before I start looking up the meaning of new words.<br />

5. When looking up a word in a dictionary, I read all the sample sentences<br />

illustrating the various meanings of the word.<br />

6. When looking up a word in the dictionary, I look at the meanings of<br />

related words.<br />

7. When reading in the FL, I try to get the meaning of what I read without<br />

thinking about English equivalents of FL constructions.
