INSTALLATION MANUAL
IMPORTANT
Please read this manual in it’s entirity before proceeding with the installation of the intercooler kit. This Fenix
Street Series Intercooler kit is only designed for the vehicles outlined below and may require modifications If
your setup differs from factory.
COMPATABILITY
• 1996-01 Toyota Chaser JZX100 2.5L 1JZ-GTE with turbo in stock position.
• 1996-00 Toyota Mark II JZX100 2.5L 1JZ-GTE with turbo in stock position.
• 1996-01 Toyota Cresta JZX100 2.5L 1JZ-GTE with turbo in stock position.
Transmission: Auto & Manual.
KIT FEATURES
• Core size: 600mm x 280mm x 67mm.
• Tube & fin construction with temperature efficient inner fin design.
• 76mm Inlet & outlet.
• Polished aluminium or black powder coat finish.
• Includes all intercooler pipes & factory style hot-side pipe, black silicone joiners, hose clamps & fittings.

Professional installation is recommended. Modification or removal of the factory crash bar, front inner guard
liners and (depending on the style) modification of the front bumper are required to fit this intercooler kit.

STEP 1.
INSTALLATION
Disconnect & remove the battery. Following this, remove the front bumper, crash bar and if applicable, the
factory undertray. Once the front bumper is removed, proceed to remove the factory intercooler and piping.
For full instructions see your vehicles user manual or seek a professional.
STEP 2.
Install the Street Series intercooler [A] using x2 M6 bolts [E] & washers [G] for the lower mounts (Fig.1) & a single M8
bolt [F] & washer [H] for the upper mount. NOTE: Horns may need to be relocated depending on the model & size.

STEP 3.
Install the alloy intercooler piping on the upper intake side as pictured in Fig. 3 utilising the silicone joiners &
hose clamps supplied. Repeat this process on the lower intake side following Fig. 4.
We reccomend you install the hose clamps loosely to ensure correct allignment throughout the system prior to a final tighten.

STEP 4
Install the alloy intercooler piping on the lower intake side as pictured in Fig. 5 utilising the silicone joiners &
hose clamps supplied. Repeat this process on the lower turbo side following Fig. 6.
We highly reccomend that a boost guage is installed when making any modifications to a turbo vehicle. An unchecked increase
in boost pressure can result in boost-spiking & engine damage,

Trim front bumper and bumper supports, the amount to be removed varies across models and bumper types
so we reccomend you trim small amounts at a time to ensure that the structural integrity of your bumper and
bumper support is not degraded.
Rules & regulations with regards to the modification of your bumper and / or bumper supports can vary depending on the
country you reside in. If in doubt, consult a professional for advice before performing any modifications.
STEP 10.
Re-connect & re-install the battery. Prior to re-installation of the front bumper, we reccomend you start the
vehicle and ensure there are no leaks from the intercooler system. Once the system has been tested for leaks,
re-install front bumper and if applicable the undertray.
