Lo studio Raman ha consentito di
distinguere i vetri usati per il body
in due gruppi: mixed Ca-Na (545 e
1100 cm -1 ) e Ca-richNa-based (550-
545 e 1100 cm -1 ) Alcune eccezioni
con K (496 e 1053 cm -1 )
La maggior parte degli smalti sono
lead-based (970 cm -1 )tranne alcuni
che hanno composizione simile a
quella della massa vitrea.
I pigmenti sono simili a quelli usati
per le ceramiche
