INVERNO / WINTER / WINTER
È questa una delle aree più belle della provincia di Belluno. Per gli
appassionati di sci e snowboard vi sono circa 30 km di piste ad un’altitudine
che va dai 900 ai 2.100 m di quota. I percorsi, distribuiti tra Monte Agudo
e Col de Varda, sono di varia difficoltà: si va dalle piste per principianti alle
discese più ripide, tecniche ed impegnative per i più allenati, tutte in ottime
condizioni di percorribilità grazie anche all’innevamento programmato.
Anche le piste dell’area Cadore-Auronzo-Misurina rientrano, insieme a
Cortina d’Ampezzo e San Vito di Cadore, nel circuito Dolomiti Superski,
ben 1.200 km di piste.
Dolomiti Card è uno strumento che offrirà anche nel 2009 la possibilità
al turista invernale di provare il tour sciistico di Cortina d’Ampezzo e del
Cadore, insieme ad una sistemazione a prezzo agevolato.
SCI DI FONDO
In località Palus San Marco, a metà strada tra Auronzo e Misurina, si trova
la Foresta di Somadida, il più grande bosco del Cadore, che d’inverno
si trasforma in rinomato centro per lo sci di fondo con itinerari ad anello
di varia difficoltà, che fanno parte del comprensorio n°8 del Dolomiti
Nordicski. Tre piste baciate dal sole vi aspettano a Misurina; da non
perdere i panorami che si godono dai percorsi di Casera Razzo e, per
sciare sotto le stelle, la pista illuminata di Lorenzago, in località Pineta.
PER I BAMBINI
Sulle piste del Monte Agudo è disponibile un campo scuola, munito di
Baby Ski-lift, dove i maestri, con un collaudato metodo di insegnamento
basato su gioco e divertimento, introdurranno i vostri bambini nel
meraviglioso mondo dello sci. A Misurina vi è poi il nuovissimo parco
giochi Tre Cime Park con noleggio slittini e gommoni.
OLTRE LO SCI
L’inverno ai piedi delle Tre Cime di Lavaredo offre mille opportunità di
divertimento: lo Sleddog, slitte trainate dai cani; lo stadio del ghiaccio
di Auronzo, dove pattinare o assistere a partite di hockey, broomball,
spettacoli di pattinaggio artistico; competizioni di polo sulle acque
ghiacciate del lago di Misurina. Ed ancora la pista di go-kart su ghiaccio,
le escursioni con le ciaspe, sci alpinismo, bob, slittino ed emozionanti gite
in motoslitta.
This area is one of the most beautiful in the whole province. Skiing and
snowboarding fans will find 30 km of slopes at an altitude ranging from 900
m to 2100 m, situated on Monte Agudo and Col de Varda; the routes are of
varying difficulty levels, from beginner slopes to steeper, more technical and
challenging descents for the experts, all of them in superb condition, with the
aid of an efficient programmed snow-cover system if and when necessary. The
slopes of the Cadore-Auronzo-Misurina area, like those of Cortina d’Ampezzo
and San Vito di Cadore, form part of the Dolomiti Superski circuit, which offers
a total of 1200 km of ski routes.
Once again in 2009 Dolomiti Card will offer winter visitors the opportunity to
experience the Cortina d’Ampezzo and Cadore ski tour, combined with a
special accommodation offer.
CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING
At Palus San Marco, half-way between Auronzo and Misurina, you will find
the Somadida Forest, the largest in the Cadore, which in winter becomes
a renowned cross-country skiing centre, with a number of circular trails of
varying difficulty which form part of the Dolomiti Nordicski area number 8.
Three sun-kissed trails also await you in Misurina, and you should not miss
the spectacular views from the Casera Razzo routes. For those who fancy
skiing in the moonlight, there is a floodlit trail in the Pineta area of Lorenzago.
FOR KIDS
On the Monte Agudo slopes, you will find a ski school, complete with junior
ski lift, where the younger members of the family can have fun discovering
the wonderful world of skiing with the help of skilled, specialised instructors.
In Misurina you will also find the brand-new Tre Cime Park where sledges
and dinghies for snowtubing can be hired.

MORE THAN JUST SKIING
Winter at the foot of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo offers a thousand and one
opportunities for fun: sleddog, dog-driven sleighs; the ice stadium in Auronzo,

where you can go skating or watch ice-hockey matches, broomball or icedancing
shows; polo competitions on the frozen waters of the lake. And then
there is go-karting on ice, trips on ciaspe snowshoes, ski mountaineering,
bobsleigh, sledging and thrilling trips by motorised sledge.
Cadore-Auronzo-Misurina ist eine der schönsten Regionen in der Provinz
Belluno. Für Schifahrer und Snowboarder gibt es auf dem Monte Agudo und
dem Col de Varda etwa 30 km Pisten. Das Schigebiet liegt auf einer Seehöhe
zwischen 900 und 2100 m und hat unterschiedlich schwierige Pisten, das
heißt blaue, rote und schwarze Hänge. Bei Bedarf sorgen Schneekanonen den
ganzen Winter über für perfekte Pistenverhältnisse. Gemeinsam mit Cortina
d’Ampezzo und San Vito di Cadore gehört auch die Region Cadore-Auronzo-
Misurina zum Schigebiet Dolomiti Superski (1.200 km Pisten).
Mit der Dolomiti Card haben die Gäste im Winter 2009 wieder die Möglichkeit,
die Schitour in Cortina d’Ampezzo und in Cadore zu unternehmen; speziell
dazu werden Unterkünfte zu vergünstigten Preisen geboten.
LANGLAUF
In Palus San Marco, auf halber Strecke zwischen Auronzo und Misurina,
steht der Wald von Somadida, der größte Wald der Region Cadore. Im
Winter verwandelt er sich in ein sehr beliebtes Langlaufgebiet mit einigen
unterschiedlich schwierigen Loipen die zur 8. Zone der Region Dolomiti
Nordicski gehören. Drei weitere sonnige Loipen gibt es in Misurina. Ein
herrliches Panorama hat man auf denen in Casera Razzo, und wer unter dem
Sternenhimmel langlaufen will, kommt in Pineta, einem Ortsteil der Gemeinde
Lorenzago, zu einer Nachtloipe.
FÜR KINDER
Im Schigebiet Monte Agudo gibt es eine Schischulwiese mit Baby - Skilift. Die
Kinder nähern sich dort unter der Aufsicht ausgebildeter Schilehrer auf ganz
spielerische Weise der Welt des Alpinschilaufs. Und in Misurina kommt man
zum ganz neuen Spielpark „Tre Cime Park“, wo Schlitten und Schlauchboote
zum Verleih stehen.

Am Fuß der Drei Zinnen kann man im Winter so einiges erleben:
Hundeschlittenfahrten; Eislaufen in der Eislaufhalle in Auronzo, wo man sich
auch Eishockeymatches, Bromballmatches und Kunsteislaufvorführungen
ansehen kann; Poloturniere auf dem zugeeisten See; die Eispiste für Go-
Karts, Schneeschuhwanderungen, Schlittenfahrten, Bob und Ausflüge mit
dem Motorschlitten.

Il Cadore è terra ricca di natura, storia ed arte: basti pensare
alla splendida Pieve di Cadore, che ha dato i natali al grande pittore
rinascimentale Tiziano, o alle Tre Cime di Lavaredo, una delle vette
dolomitiche più belle. Se volete respirare aria pura e salutare il lago di
Misurina è l’ideale, soprattutto per i bambini: qui sorge un importante
istituto per la cura dell’asma infantile, grazie alle ideali condizioni
climatiche dimostratesi preziose per la cura di questa malattia.
PASSEGGIATE RELAX E DIVERTIMENTO
Il Cadore offre piacevoli passeggiate ed escursioni nel verde,
semplici e sicure: da Laggio si raggiunge Casera Razzo, area picnic
e punto di partenza per le ascensioni in quota; a Lorenzago un
sentiero nel bosco conduce a Villa Mirabello, luogo di villeggiatura
prediletto da Giovanni Paolo II; a Lozzo il sentiero botanico Tita
Poa e l’altopiano Pian dei Buoi. Per le famiglie consigliamo la pista
ciclabile di Auronzo, un percorso semplice lungo il quale si gode
di uno splendido panorama. Per i più esperti c’è la Traversata del
Centro Cadore da Auronzo a Caralte di Perarolo di Cadore che
si sviluppa attraverso percorsi tematici ad anello. Per chi al relax
preferisce l’emozione consigliamo la discesa lungo le piste del
Monte Agudo con il Fun Bob, pista di bob su rotaia lunga ben 3 km
per 15 minuti di puro divertimento.
PER CHI AMA SALIRE IN QUOTA
La meta più ambita di una vacanza sulle Dolomiti sono le Tre Cime
di Lavaredo, raggiungibili sia a piedi che in auto, lungo la strada a
pedaggio che parte da Misurina. Da segnalare anche le Alte Vie n. 4
e 5 delle Dolomiti e l’itinerario verso il Monte Piana con il suo museo
della Grande Guerra. Agli appassionati delle due ruote è invece
dedicata la Lunga Via delle Dolomiti, itinerario ciclistico che segue
il tracciato dell’antica ferrovia che da Calalzo conduce a Cortina.
TRA STORIA, ARTE E CULTURA
L’itinerario dei “Tesori d’Arte nelle Chiese dell’Alto Bellunese” vi
conduce alla scoperta di Vigo di Cadore e delle sue chiese. Ed
ancora, il Museo dell’occhiale ove sono raccolti oltre 3.000 pezzi
che documentano la storia di questo essenziale accessorio, dai
primordi ai giorni nostri. In molti casi si tratta di pezzi assolutamente
eccezionali, unici nel loro genere, preziosi documenti non solo di
storia della tecnica e del costume ma anche d’arte. Da non perdere
la visita al sito archeologico di Lagole dove sono stati rinvenuti
importanti reperti risalenti all’epoca paleoveneta, e alle sue sorgenti
d’acqua termale, deliziose cascatelle che sgorgano direttamente
dal terreno. Il Museo Multitematico di Auronzo offre la possibilità di
vedere, accanto ad importanti reperti archeologici, minerali, rocce,
fossili e animali della zona.
GASTRONOMIA E PRODOTTI TIPICI
Tra i tanti e saporiti piatti della tradizione culinaria cadorina
ricordiamo: i “pestariei”, la “panada”, gli gnocchi di polenta. Le
erbe selvatiche arricchiscono la tavola primaverile ed ottime sono
le specialità della produzione dolciaria locale, come le “zope” e la
“peta”. Malghe e negozi della zona sono tappe pressoché obbligate
per chi ama la buona tavola e i prodotti tipici del Cadore, dallo speck
ai formaggi, alle grappe.
The Cadore is an area which offers a great deal to both nature
lovers and art and history enthusiasts. Just think of the splendid Pieve
di Cadore, the birthplace of the great Renaissance artist Titian; or the
peaks of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, among the finest in the Dolomites. If
you’re looking for fresh air and a healthy, regenerating environment, then
Misurina Lake is the place for you; the climate of the area is particularly
beneficial for children, and in fact on the banks of the lake there is a
prestigious clinic for the treatment of childhood asthma.

RELAXING WALKS AND FUN
There are plenty of simple, safe, pleasant walks in the Cadore
area: from Laggio you can reach Casera Razzo, a picnic area and
departure point for climbs; in Lorenzago, a woodland path leads to
Villa Mirabello, a favourite resort of Pope John Paul II, and in Lozzo

you will find the Tita Poa botanic path and the Pian dei Buoi plateau.
For families, highly recommended comes the Auronzo cycle lane, a
simple route along which splendid views can be enjoyed. More expert
hikers might like to tackle the Traversata del Centro Cadore, a route
through the Centro Cadore area from Auronzo to Caralte di Perarolo di
Cadore, organised into a number of circular themed itineraries. Those
of you who prefer a more adventurous trip might like to try hurtling
down the Monte Agudo slopes with the Fun Bob, a 15km bobsleigh
track offering 15 minutes of pure fun.
UP IN THE MOUNTAINS
The most popular destination in the area is undoubtedly the Tre Cime
di Lavaredo, which can be reached either on foot or along the toll road
which leaves from Misurina. It is also worth mentioning the High Altitude
Trails 4 and 5, as well as the route towards Monte Piana and the Great
War Museum. Cyclists, on the other hand, will enjoy the Lunga Via
delle Dolomiti cycling route, which runs along the old railway line from
Calalzo to Cortina.
HISTORY, ART AND CULTURE
Visitors might like to follow the “Art Treasures in the Churches of the
North of Belluno” route through Vigo di Cadore, where a number
of fine churches can be explored. And then there is the Eyewear
Museum, where you can admire over 300 exhibits which tell the story
and the history of this indispensable accessory, from the very early
days until the present. On display are a number of absolutely unique
pieces which document the history of not only eyewear production
techniques, but also of fashion and art. Another fascinating place to
visit is the Lagole archaeological area, where important findings dating
back to the Palaeo-venetian Age have come to light, and the Lagole
springs, marvellous little cascades of spa waters which rise up straight
from the earth. The Multi-Theme Museum in Auronzo offers visitors the
opportunity to see important archaeological finds, as well as minerals,
rocks and animals from the surrounding area.
TYPICAL CUISINE AND FOOD PRODUCTS
Among the traditional Cadore dishes visitors will find are “pestariei”,
“panada”, a type of gnocchi made with polenta. Wild herbs are always
present in spring dishes, and there are some excellent local sweets to
sample, such as “zope” and “peta”. For those who wish to purchase
typical local produce - from speck to cheese to grappa - a visit to
mountain dairy huts and local shops is a must.

Die Region Cadore ist ein Land mit viel Natur, Geschichte und Kunst:
hier braucht man nur an die bezaubernde Ortschaft Pieve di Cadore zu
denken, dem Geburtsort des großen Renaissancemalers Tizian, oder an
die Drei Zinnen, einen der schönsten Berge im Dolomitenraum. Wer frische
und gesunde Luft atmen will, für den ist der See von Misurina ein ideales
Plätzchen - vor allem für Kinder: hier steht eine sehr bekannte Luftkuranstalt, in
der asthmatische Kinderkrankheiten behandelt werden, den die klimatischen
Bedingungen in dieser Zone sind bei diesen Pathologien besondern hilfreich.
SPAZIERGÄNGE RELAX UND SPASS
In der Region Cadore kann man viele einfache Wanderungen und
Spaziergänge unternehmen: Von Laggio kommt man nach Casera Razzo,
einem Picknickareal und Startpunkt für Wanderungen ins Hochgebirge; von
Lorenzago führt ein Waldweg nach Villa Mirabello, wo Papst Johannes Paul
II. mehrmals seinen Sommerurlaub verbrachte; in Lozzo kommt man zum
Botanikweg “Tita Poa“ und zum Weg auf das Hochplateau „Pian dei Buoi“.
Familien ist der Radweg in Auronzo zu empfehlen, eine einfache Route mit
herrlichem Panorama. Erfahrenen Wanderern zu empfehlen ist die Route
durch das Gebiet Centro Cadore, das heißt von Auronzo nach Caralte di
Perarolo di Cadore; diese Route führt über einige thematische Rundwege.
Wem ein Abenteuer lieber ist, kann es mit einer Fahrt mit dem Fun Bob auf
dem Monte Agudo versuchen 15 Minuten Spaß pur auf der 3 km langen
Schienenpiste.
WANDERUNGEN IM HOCHGEBIRGE
Zu einem der sicherlich beliebtesten Urlaubsziele in den Dolomiten zählen
die Drei Zinnen. Man kann sie zu Fuß erreichen, aber auch mit dem Auto (in
Misurina geht eine Mautstrasse ab). Ebenfalls herrlich sind Wanderungen
auf den Dolomitenhöhenwegen Nr. 4 und 5 und auf den Monte Piana, wo
ein sehr interessantes Museum über den Ersten Weltkrieg zu sehen ist.
Radfahrern legen wir die Route „Lunga Via delle Dolomiti“ ans Herz, eine
Radstrecke entlang der ehemaligen Eisenbahnlinie, die von Calalzo nach
Cortina d’Ampezzo führt.
ZWISCHEN GESCHICHTE, KUNST UND KULTUR
Die Kunstroute „Kunstschätze in den Kirchen der Region Alto Bellunese“ führt
in die Gemeinde Vigo di Cadore und in ihre Kirchen. Weiters sehr interessant:
das Brillenmuseum mit mehr als 3.000 Exponaten, die von der Geschichte
dieses so essentiellen Accessoires erzählen. Einige der ausgestellten Exemplare
sind wertvolle Unikate, die nicht nur über die Geschichte der Technik, sondern
auch über Brauchtum und Kunst vergangener Epochen Aufschluss geben.
Ebenfalls sehenswert ist die archäologische Grabungszone in Lagole, wo Funde
aus der Paläo-Venetischen Epoche gemacht wurden. Das Gebiet von Lagole
ist außerdem für seine Thermalquellen bekannt. Und im multithematischen
Museum in Auronzo findet man neben wichtigen archäologischen Funden
auch Minerale, Steine, Fossilien und Tiere aus der Region.
KULINARISCHES UND HEIMISCHE SPEZIALITÄTEN
Unter den vielen ausgezeichneten Gerichten der Cadorinischen Küche
möchten wir hier nur einige nennen: die „Pestariei“, die „Panada“ und
die Polentagnocchi. Im Frühjahr werden viele Speisen mit Wildkräutern
abgeschmeckt. Deliziöse Süßspeisen sind die „Zope“ und die „Peta“. Auf vielen
Almen und in den Lebensmittelgeschäften bekommt man ausgezeichneten
Almkäse, würzigen Speck und hervorragenden Grappa zu kaufen.

The hotel is welcoming, peaceful and offers careful, courteous service in a family atmosphere.
Almost all of the 18 rooms have a spacious balcony. All bedrooms are en suite and have colour
satellite TV and telephone. A light buffet breakfast is provided for guests, while at lunch and dinner
both guests and visiting tourists can enjoy a wide choice of local and national Italian dishes. In
the summer, visitors can relax in the large, leafy garden, or hire mountain bikes. There is also

letto e dei servizi. Le residenze turistico-alberghiere sono
identificate con la sigla RTA accanto alla denominazione.
I segni convenzionali dell’attrezzatura e dei servizi
di cui dispongono gli esercizi sono illustrati nella
legenda. In presenza del simbolo “ACCESSIBILE
CON ACCOMPAGNATORE” è consigliabile rivolgersi
telefonicamente all’albergatore per le proprie necessità
specifiche. Stanti le modifiche della normativa regionale
ed in attesa delle indicazioni operative, l’informazione
relativa all’ ACCESSIBILITÀ alle strutture ricettive è riferita
all’ottobre 2008.
Il Marchio di qualità delle imprese alberghiere è una
associazione volontaria di esercizi che fornisce ai clienti,
attraverso una segnaletica appropriata, una valutazione
obiettiva del livello di servizio offerto.
RECLAMI
I turisti che riscontrano carenze nella gestione o nelle
strutture, o ai quali sono state richieste tariffe difformi da
quelle risultanti dalla tabella prezzi esposta nel locale di
ricevimento dell’albergo, possono presentare documentato
reclamo entro trenta giorni dall’evento a:

Every hotel listing includes the following information: the name,
classification with number of stars varying from 5 to 1, address,
the number of rooms, beds and baths. The tourist hotel residences
are marked by letters RTA next to the name.
The standard symbols used for amenities and services of the
hotels are illustrated in the legenda. Where the symbol “ACCESS
WITH GUIDE” appears, it is advisable to call the hotel keeper for
specific needs. In accordance with the modifications to the regional
regulations and while awaiting the pertinent operational indications,
the information regarding ACCESSIBILITY to the accommodation
facilities refers to October 2008.
The quality trade-mark of the hotel business is a voluntary
association of hotel management that provides the guests, by an
appropriate sign, an objective evaluation of the service level offered.
CLAIMS
Should visitors find any reason for complaint regarding
the management or premises, or should the charges requested
differ from those that figure in the table of prices displayed in
the reception, they should document their claim for redress and
send it, within 30 days of the incident, to the following address:

Für jeden Hotelbetrieb wird folgendes angegeben: der Hotelname,
die betreffende Einstufung mit Angabe der Sterne, die von eins
bis fünf variieren können, di Adresse, die Anzahl der Zimmer, der
Betten und der Badezimmer; die touristischen Apartmenthotel
sind mit der Abkürzung RTA neben dem Namen gekennzeichnet.
Die herkömmlichen Symbole für die seitens der Hotelbetriebe
gebotenen Ausstattung und Serviceleistungen werden in der
Legende illustriert. Wird das Symbol „MIT BEGLEITUNG
ZUGÄNGLICH“ angegeben, wird empfohlen, sich telefonisch mit
dem Hotelführer in Verbindung zu setzen, um so die persönlichen
Anförderungen abklären zu können. Die Zugänglichkeitsreglungen
nach den Normen aus dem Jahr 2008 bleiben gültig bis zum
Inkrafttreten der neuen regionalen Bestimmunge.

Hotelgewerbes). Mit Hilfe ausgewählter Kriterien, soll dieses
Gütezeichen dem Kunden eine objektive Wertung des Angebotes
ermöglichen.
REKLAMATIONEN
Gäste, die Beanstandungen vorzutragen haben oder denen Tarife
verrechnet wurden, die nicht mit der im Hotel ausgehängten Preisliste
übereinstimmen, können mit Vorlage von Beweisen innerhalb
von 30 Tagen bei folgendem Amt eine Reklamation einreichen:
