Un vecchio detto popolare dice: Mai lasciare la<br />
strada vecchia per la nuova!<br />
In questo caso il Dott. Antonini, organizzatore<br />
dello <strong>show</strong>, andando contro le credenze popolari ha<br />
fatto la cosa giusta e molto gradita a tutti noi. Infatti il<br />
vecchio <strong>show</strong> di Boario Terme è stato trasferito in uno<br />
dei più bei centri ippici in europa: Il Palasturla di Manerbio.<br />
In questa nuova location si è tenuto nei giorni<br />
23-24 e 25 di luglio lo <strong>show</strong> internazionale “B” dedicato<br />
al PSA. Una cornice meravigliosa quella del campo<br />
ostacoli in erba, tras<strong>for</strong>mato in ring e prering dall’organizzazione.<br />
Box allestiti in cemento, hanno ospitato<br />
i 74 cavalli iscritti alla gara. Per noi operatori invece,<br />
la struttura offriva ogni con<strong>for</strong>t, dal ristorante, ai tavoli<br />
Vip con un piccolo ma efficiente servizio bar, un ottimo<br />
gazebo per la giuria vicino alla costruzione che ha<br />
Aen old saying goes: “Better the devil you know<br />
than the devil you don’t”.<br />
Mr. Antonini, the <strong>show</strong> organizer, did not<br />
follow the old folk tale and made indeed the right<br />
choice, very much appreciated by us all. He decided to<br />
move the old Boario Terme <strong>show</strong> to one of the most<br />
beautiful equestrian centers in Italy, the Palasturla<br />
in Manerbio. In its new home, the International<br />
“B” <strong>show</strong> <strong>for</strong> PBA was held on July 23rd, 24th and<br />
25th. The <strong>show</strong>jumping grass course, trans<strong>for</strong>med by<br />
the organizers into the ring and pre-ring, created a<br />
fabulous backdrop <strong>for</strong> the <strong>show</strong>. The concrete loose<br />
boxes accommodated the 74 horses that had been entered.<br />
For us operators, the list of facilities included<br />
everything from restaurant to VIP tables, a small but<br />
efficient bar service and an excellent gazebo <strong>for</strong> the<br />

ospitato la Sig.ra Luisa Bonomi per la musica e la Dott.<br />
ssa Laura Mascagna, che oltre ad essere un veterinario<br />
è un factotum quando si trova in <strong>show</strong>, in quanto svolge<br />
un pò di ruoli: addetta alla segreteria, allo spicheraggio<br />
e alla segreteria computer per i punteggi. La giuria in<br />
campo era <strong>for</strong>mata dal Sig. Christian Moschini (IT),<br />
dalla Sig.ra Maria Ferraroni (IT), dal Sig. Daniel Souppat<br />
(FR) e dal Sig. Konraed Detailleur (Belgio). Alla<br />
Commissione Disciplinare, la Sig.ra Marina Pasquali e<br />
il Sig. Amadio Sparapan, mentre il ring Master di questa<br />
nuova edizione dello <strong>show</strong> è il Sig. Mario Bonomi.<br />
Rappresentante Anica all’interno della manifestazione,<br />
ma sopra<strong>tutto</strong> supervisore esperto per la buona realizzazione<br />
dello <strong>show</strong> era il Sig. Ivo Ludi. Il tempo è stato<br />
clemente con noi, in quanto poco più a nord i temporali<br />
hanno creato dei veri e propri danni alla campagna e<br />
alle coltivazioni. Devo dire però che quest’anno il rischi<br />
di fare lo <strong>show</strong> sotto l’acqua non è mai esistito perchè il<br />
Palasturla che ci ha ospitato dispone addirittura di 2 coperti.<br />
In caso maltempo la manifestazione non avrebbe<br />
subito ne danni ne ritardi. Grazie quindi al Sig. Antonini<br />
e a sua moglie Marisa, che con tanto lavoro, dedizione<br />
e amore per il purosangue Arabo hanno avuto il<br />
coraggio di spostare la manifestazione, da Boario, che<br />
oltre<strong>tutto</strong> ospita il loro Circolo Ippico RUK, a questo<br />
fantastico centro. Grazie anche alla nostra fotografa,<br />
Nicoletta Abelli che con le sue foto ci permette sempre<br />
di rivivere i momenti più belli e salienti degli <strong>show</strong>. q<br />
judges. Near-by, a structure was set up to accommodate<br />
Mrs. Luisa Bonomi <strong>for</strong> the music and Dr. Laura<br />
Mascagna, veterinarian and an all-rounder when it<br />
comes to <strong>show</strong>s: she was the secretary, the speaker and<br />
entered also the scores into the computer system. The<br />
judges were Mr. Christian Moschini (IT), Mrs. Maria<br />
Ferraroni (IT), Mr. Daniel Souppat (FR) and<br />
Mr. Konraed Detailleur (Belgium). The disciplinary<br />
commission consisted of Mrs. Marina Pasquali and<br />
Mr. Amadio Sparapan, while the ring master of this<br />
new edition was Mr. Mario Bonomi. The ANICA<br />
representative at the <strong>show</strong>, who also acted as experienced<br />
supervisor, was Mr. Ivo Ludi. The weather<br />
was good with us, as slightly further north there<br />
were thunderstorms that caused lots of damage to the<br />
countryside and the crops. It must be said that this<br />
year, the risk of running a <strong>show</strong> under the rain was<br />
nonexistent, as the Palasturla includes 2 indoor arenas.<br />
In case of bad weather, the <strong>show</strong> would have been<br />
neither delayed nor marred. There<strong>for</strong>e, I would like to<br />
thank Mr. Antonini and his wife Marisa, who have<br />
worked so hard, with so much devotion and love <strong>for</strong><br />
the Purebred Arabian and had the courage to move<br />
the <strong>show</strong> from Boario, which incidentally houses their<br />
Equestrian Center called RUK, to this fantastic center.<br />
