The Cuban Poster collection was part of a bibliographic exchange between the Doe Library of the
University of California at Berkeley and the Biblioteca Nacional José Martí of Cuba. The Bancroft Library
became custodians of the collection in 2001.

System of Arrangement
Items in the Cuban Poster collection have been assigned numbers as they are received and inventoried by
the library. These are simply sequential numbers appended to the collection number (BANC PIC 2001.061.)
They reflect no intellectual arrangement, no evidence as to provenance, and they are not related to the creation
of the items in any way. The numbers are required for item identification and retrieval from storage.
For ease of use, this finding aid has been arranged alphabetically by publisher’s name, then sub-ordered
