5.1 Changing the unit of measurement<br />

Only the symbols Km/h and mph will be<br />

displayed, and the unit selected will be<br />

shown fl ashing (with f=1Hz, Duty=50%)<br />

(fi g. 16).<br />

A short press of the button will cause the<br />

selected unit to change while a long press<br />

permits switching to the next adjustment<br />

or exiting the Set-up menu.<br />

6. PUSH-BUTTON<br />

The purpose of the button is to:<br />

- allow for scrolling through the various<br />

functions.<br />

- reset the partial distance and maximum<br />

speed values and enable the chronometer.<br />

- access the Set-Up menu.<br />

- adjust the clock.<br />

Scrolling through the functions (i.e. the<br />

passage from one function to the next) is<br />

always permitted, regardless of the state<br />

of motion or rest of the vehicle; simply<br />

press the button briefl y (tmin = 1 sec.) and,<br />

once released, the display will updated<br />

with the new function.<br />

The partial distance and the maximum<br />

speed can be reset when the vehicle is<br />

stopped or moving, as described in the<br />

previous paragraphs.<br />

Entry into the Set-Up menu, clock<br />

adjustment and chronometer activation is<br />

only allowed when the vehicle is stopped<br />

and operated as described in chapters<br />

2 and 6.<br />

The button is active when the key switch<br />

is set to the ON position.<br />
