La presenza sempre più numerosa di musicisti, provenienti da tutto il mondo, che partecipano alle “Giornate della <strong>Percussion</strong>e”, unico Concorso internazionale in Italia specifico per questi Strumenti, testimonia l’importanza e l’eccellenza di questa manifestazione. Le “Giornate della <strong>Percussion</strong>e,”alla loro settima edizione, non solo permettono un confronto di alto pr<strong>of</strong>ilo musicale e compositivo, ma consentono anche di poter fruire di una <strong>of</strong>ferta formativa prestigiosa. I Masters ed i Concerti in programma <strong>of</strong>frono infatti la grande opportunità di avvicinarsi a Docenti ed Artisti di fama internazionale, eccezionalmente insieme, che, proprio per la loro alta pr<strong>of</strong>essionalità e la loro esperienza, non possono non arricchire ulteriormente i pr<strong>of</strong>ili di studio ed artistici dei partecipanti. Le “Giornate della <strong>Percussion</strong>e” sono, per il Conservatorio “ G.B.Pergolesi” che le accoglie presso la sua sede e le sostiene, un momento importante non solo perché questa iniziativa si definisce come “unica” in Italia ma soprattutto perché, quale Ente di Alta Formazione, vede concretizzarsi, attraverso il loro programma, l’obiettivo reale della “formazione” che nasce anche dalla qualità del confronto e dallo scambio culturale, elementi questi che delle “Giornate”sono l’anima. Per la città di Fermo e per la Provincia esse rappresentano infine un appuntamento musicale di grande rilievo che va ad inserirsi in un progetto culturale di ampio respiro, che vede il Conservatorio sempre più presente sul territorio. The always increasing presence <strong>of</strong> musicians from all over the world that participate in the “<strong>Days</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Percussion</strong>”, the only specific international Competition in Italy for these Instruments, testifies to the importance and excellence <strong>of</strong> this event. At their seventh edition, the “<strong>Percussion</strong> <strong>Days</strong>” not only allow a high-pr<strong>of</strong>ile, musical and compositional contest, but also allow the possibility <strong>of</strong> benefiting from a prestigious, formative <strong>of</strong>fer. In fact, the planned Masters Courses and Concerts <strong>of</strong>fer the great opportunity <strong>of</strong> approaching internationally famous Teachers and Artists, exceptionally together, who, precisely because <strong>of</strong> their great pr<strong>of</strong>essionalism and experience, can only further enrich the study and artistic pr<strong>of</strong>iles <strong>of</strong> the participants. For the “G. B. Pergolesi” Conservatoire which receives The “<strong>Days</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Percussion</strong>” on its premises and supports them, they are an important moment not only because this initiative is defined as “unique” in Italy but above all because, as a Top Formation Body, it sees the real aim <strong>of</strong> the “formation” realized by means <strong>of</strong> their programme, which also springs from the quality <strong>of</strong> the contest and cultural exchange, which elements are the soul <strong>of</strong> the “<strong>Days</strong>”. Finally, they represent a musical appointment <strong>of</strong> great importance for the city <strong>of</strong> Fermo and the Province, which fits into a wideranging cultural project, that finds the Conservatoire more and more present in our territory. Pergolesi” Music Conservatoire Dal 7 al 12 settembre 2009 si svolgerà la settima edizione delle “Giornate della <strong>Percussion</strong>e” articolata in due importanti eventi: la Competizione ed il Festival. Anche quest’anno si preannuncia un appuntamento molto ricco e intenso di attività. Ringrazio e saluto tutti gli artisti presenti nel nostro Istituto che, con la loro presenza, rendono questo evento ancora più prestigioso. I partecipanti iscritti, che quest’anno superano le 100 unità, provengono, oltre che da numerosi Conservatori italiani, anche da diverse nazioni europee e non. Questa partecipazione testimonia l’ampio respiro raggiunto dalla settimana della percussione, grazie al responsabile - il M° Antonio Santangelo docente di percussione del nostro Conservatorio nonché Presidente della PAS italiana - che con passione e impegno sta dedicando tempo ed energie per la buona riuscita dell’evento. In queste “giornate” ci sarà il confronto delle diverse metodologie di insegnamento tra docenti di numerose scuole e sarà quindi l’occasione per tutti i giovani partecipanti di arricchirsi didatticamente e umanamente. Sono lieta di poter <strong>of</strong>frire agli allievi del Conservatorio di Fermo una tale opportunità, che certamente unita alla fatica organizzativa, contribuisce a farli crescere da un punto di vista esecutivo ed interpretativo. From 7th to 12th September 2009 the seventh edition <strong>of</strong> the “<strong>Days</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Percussion</strong>” will take place, articulated in two important events: the Competition and the Festival. This year, too, this appointment promises to be very rich and intense in activity. I thank and greet all the artists present in our Institute who, by their presence, make this event even more prestigious. Besides coming from numerous Italian Conservatoires, the enrolled participants, that exceed 100 units this year, also come from several European nations and non. This participation testifies to the wide range reached by the percussion week, thanks to the person in charge – Master Antonio Santangelo, a percussion teacher in our Conservatoire as well as President <strong>of</strong> the Italian PAS – who is devoting time and energy with passion and dedication for the success <strong>of</strong> the event. In these “days”, there will be a comparison between the various teaching methods among teachers <strong>of</strong> numerous schools and, therefore, it will be the occasion for all the young participants to be enriched educationally and humanly. I am happy to be able to <strong>of</strong>fer all the Fermo Conservatoire students such an opportunity, which certainly, together with the organizational work, contributes to making them grow from a performance and interpretative point <strong>of</strong> view.
