L'inaugurazione<strong>IL</strong> TR<strong>IL</strong>LOsustainable design Made in ItalyBeing surrounded by the scent of citrus in an Italian gardenis definitely an exciting time for an avid nature andits beauties...Being surrounded by an unusual and unexpected scentof lemons at the opening of an Italian restaurant inChelsea (London) is even more ‘extraordinary.The Hesperidarium, the garden of citrus fruits: this comesfrom the idea of bringing a piece of Italy in London, and especiallya piece of Massa (MS) in Chelsea (London). Therestaurant is located in the Chelsea area, an elegant districtof the city that has become a must for Londoners, andnot only that love good food and the "beautiful country".But the "trill" is not just a restaurant. It ‘a full sensory experience:sight, smell, touch, taste, hearing... all the senseswill remain involved.It may be surprising to decide which of these is moredaunting task.But let’s start from the view. A carpet of green lemonleaves on the dark wooden floor welcomed the guests onthe opening day, marking the start of the sensory pathway.Perceiving the fresh scent of the leaves and their cracklingat every step along our path inside the room was atrip of references to the atmosphere of Italian gardensand citrus fruits that have enriched and designed spaces.Accompanied by color and olfactory memory of the essencegiven off from the floor, the walls we describe thehistory of the area from which everything and ‘party: thesea of Versilia, Massa citrus groves inland, the quarriesof Carrara with still images the effort of the men who fortwo thousand years extract the "raw material" for excellence:marble.Our hands glide over the warm white of the counter, entirelycovered with marble, "Calacatta Massa", grantingthe honor to represent the walls of the Apuan Alps bold.The hands then quickly escape to touch the "Wineries"that hold the wine product that is born among the hills andthe sea of the coast of Tuscany and Liguria: vermentinu.The owner and winemaker, offering us a glass of white onthe palate, which describes the "terroire" of this strip ofland where the microclimate marine-mount and passionof Francis make this product excellence.Following the carpet of leaves we enter the "winter garden",focus and fulfillment of our journey. In this cornerof paradise are some of abode Massa citrus, cedar ofCorsica, cedar Maxima "large-fruited," sweet orangeand lemongrass.
