Maurizio Sala comments upon the Italian and<br />

European scenarios of the metal foundry sector<br />

Maurizio Sala is the new President of Amafond,<br />

the Italian Association of Foundry Suppliers,<br />

a historical association that, having now<br />

reached its 70th year of activity, gathers 94<br />

oftheindustry’smostimportantcompanies,withreturns<br />

adding up to 1,400 million euro, more than 75%<br />

being due to exports.<br />

WeaskedMaurizioSala,who,asFoundryEcocer’spresident<br />

was for many years the Vice President of Amafond,<br />

a comment on the spur of the moment regarding<br />

his election, the overall outlook of the relevant market<br />

and the Association’s strategies.<br />
