controlled pre-heating and the
innovative patented system
superior mechanical properties
required of extrusions
for high-resistance
applications are obtained
Thanks to high workability and extensive possibilities
offered in aluminium extrusion where moulding the
mechanical features of the end product are concerned,
alloys belonging to the 6000 series have
become the answer to an extended range of applications
ranging from traditional industries such as the construction
sector to increasingly demanding and sophisticated
products required in the automotive and aerospace sectors.
For a number of years car manufacturers in Germany have
been investing considerable resources into redefining materials
for the construction of structural components, substituting
traditionally used steel with the lighter aluminium,
reducing the weight of the vehicle and increasing characteristics
of resistance and shock absorption with advantages
for environment and improved safety features.
