Thanks to high workability and extensive possibilities<br />
offered in aluminium extrusion where moulding the<br />
mechanical features of the end product are concerned,<br />
alloys belonging to the 6000 series have<br />
become the answer to an extended range of applications<br />
ranging from traditional industries such as the construction<br />
sector to increasingly demanding and sophisticated<br />
products required in the automotive and aerospace sectors.<br />
For a number of years car manufacturers in Germany have<br />
been investing considerable resources into redefining materials<br />
for the construction of structural components, substituting<br />
traditionally used steel with the lighter aluminium,<br />
reducing the weight of the vehicle and increasing characteristics<br />
