The First Graduates From
the HPDC School
The first edition of CSMT and AQM’s Die casting
school ended on June 28th with the awarding
of diplomas. The school’s new edition will start
on September 27th by Licia Zagni, CSMT Gestione Scarl

final event that on June 28th celebrated the
“Foundry
conclusion of the first edition of the HPDC
school at the CSMT ad AQM headquarters in Branze Str.
in Brescia. During this day technical meetings, round tables
and in-depth analyses of market scenarios provided
a framework for the final ceremony where diplomas were
conferred to the twenty-one students who were able to
access the final exams on June 20th and 21st to graduate
as Production Managers, Product Technologists and Process
Technologists. These exams were passed with flying
colours by all students, with an average grade of 88/100.
ThesuccessofthefirsteditionoftheDieCastingSchool,
created by CSMT and AQM with the support and participation
of companies and Universities, confirms the need
to provide continuity to this training project and officially
pavesthewaytothesecondeditionthatwillbeginonSeptember
27th, 2016.
“An important resource that we have available is knowledge,
and together with cooperation it makes a difference”, said
duringtheopeningspeechCSMTandAQM’sPresident,Riccardo
Trichilo, who stressed that today’s entrepreneurial
worldisanopensystem,managingabusinessimpliesosmosis
and Brescia is acting in this way. As is the case with Industry4.0thatisbasedontheweb,theenterprisesystem
networks with universities, research centres and other companies.
An open and transparent managerial vision, capable
of seizing opportunities, a Smart company model connected
to the smart city model, to become an excellent system
in every area.
GabrieleCeselin,themindbehindthediecastingschool
project, that was then developed with all its partners, describes
how the cooperation between AQM and CSMT enabled
this “dream” to come true, following discussion and
understanding of the industry’s requirements: raising new
generations, filling the gap left by traditional technical and
university syllabi, forming certified professional figures,
finding an agreement between users, designers and manufacturers
of casts and raw materials, keeping up quality
