Why is fund-raising important?<br />
“With the solidarity network created<br />
we can fully finance the Bimbi ANT<br />
project but every year we need new<br />
investments to use for our dedicated<br />
medical staff who we continuously<br />
keep updated and informed on all<br />
the new health care techniques,<br />
new medicines, etc. These are the<br />
reasons why we organize activities<br />
which allow us to raise funds annually<br />
such as the Grand Gala and the<br />
Debutante Ball”.<br />
How has Florence responded this<br />
year?<br />
“The Grand Gala is already nearly<br />
sold-out: there has been an important<br />
and positive response from the<br />
people and the companies who support<br />
this event. This year, we will<br />
be 330 but only because of lack of<br />
space: it is a well-consolidated and<br />
much-awaited-for event which is<br />
sold-out months before because it is<br />
much appreciated by the Florentine<br />
society”.<br />

Perché è importante la raccolta<br />
fondi?<br />
“Con la rete di solidarietà che si<br />
crea possiamo finanziare a 360° il<br />
progetto Bimbi ANT, ma ogni anno<br />
c’è bisogno di nuovi investimenti<br />
da utilizzare nell’impiego dello staff<br />
medico dedicato che continuiamo ad<br />
aggiornare ed informare su tutte le<br />
nuove tecniche di assistenza, nuovi<br />
farmaci ecc. Per queste motivazioni<br />
annualmente organizziamo delle<br />
iniziative che ci permettono di raccogliere<br />
fondi, come il Gran Galà ed<br />
il Ballo delle Debuttanti”.<br />
Com’è stata quest’anno la risposta<br />
del contesto fiorentino?<br />
“Il Gran Galà è un evento praticamente<br />
già esaurito: c’è stata una<br />
risposta sempre più importante e<br />
positiva da parte del territorio e delle<br />
aziende che sostengono l’evento.<br />
Quest’anno saremo 330 ma solo<br />
per limiti di capienza: è un evento<br />
consolidato e atteso, che si esaurisce<br />
molti mesi prima perchè è apprezzato<br />
dal tutto il contesto fiorentino”.<br />
