O
nce upon a time, in a charming little town nestled
between rolling hills and lush forests, there was a school
unlike any other. This was “The Woodland Learning Haven”,
and it was the place where all the children in the town began
their educational journeys. The first day of school was always
a mix of excitement and anxiety for the young ones, and the
school had a special tradition to ease their nerves.
At the heart of the forest, hidden among tall trees, colorful
flowers, and a gentle breeze that carried the salty scent of the
nearby sea, lived a group of eight adorable animals. These
animals were known throughout the town for their unique
abilities to accompany, comfort, and cheer up the children
on their first day of school. Each one had a name associated
with the noise they made during their food binges, making
them even more endearing.

Gnawy
THE SLOTH
Gnawy the Sloth was the first to wake
up on the morning of the first day of
school. With his slow and deliberate
movements, he began to make his
way to the school. His gentle nature
and unhurried pace were a source of
comfort for the children, reminding
them that it was okay to take their
time and not rush through life.
Chewy
THE ELEPHANT
Chewy the Elephant, with her big
floppy ears and even bigger heart,
was next to arrive. She had a magical
ability to remember every child’s
name and something special about
them. She would greet each child with
a warm and welcoming trumpeting
sound, making them feel like they were
part of a big, loving family.

Chompy
THE LION
Chompy the Lion, despite his fiercesounding
name, had a heart as soft
as a marshmallow. He would stand
guard at the entrance, ensuring that
no worries or fears could pass through.
His mighty roar, which sounded more
like a purr, reassured the children that
they were safe and protected.

THE OCTOPUS

teaching the children about courage
and resilience. His laughter, which
sounded like a series of cracks,
would fill the air, reminding the
children that even in tough times,
there was always room for joy.

THE BEAR
Munchy the Bear was known for
his love of honey and his boundless
energy. He would organize games
and activities that helped the children
make new friends and bond with one
another. His hearty munching sounds
encouraged the children to share
snacks and stories during breaks.
Crunchy
THE FOX
Crunchy the Fox was the cleverest
of them all. With her sly grin and
twinkling eyes, she would play little
pranks on the children, causing
giggles and laughter. Her antics
reminded the children that school
could also be a place for fun
and play.

As the children arrived at The Woodland Learning Haven,
they were greeted by this delightful group of cute friends,
each with their unique noises and personalities. Together,
Gnawy, Chewy, Chompy, Slurpy, Sparkly, Cracky, Munchy,
and Crunchy created an atmosphere of warmth, acceptance,
and encouragement. The children soon realized that they
were not alone in their first-day jitters and that they had
eight furry, feathery, and scaly friends to guide them through
the exciting adventure of learning and growing.
With the help of these lovable animals, the children’s
first day of school became a day filled with joy, curiosity,
and unforgettable memories. And so, in this enchanting
forest school, every first day of school was a magical and
heartwarming experience for both the children and their
eight adorable companions.
