Für einen solchen Einsatz sind durch den Anlagenbauer entsprechend gekennzeichnete, konforme Komponenten zu verwenden. GEA bietet als erster europäischer Hersteller Verdichter an, die konform mit der ATEX-Gerätekategorie 2 sind. Informationen zu den Verdichtern: Als Basisverdichter für die ATEX-Ausführungen kommen die halbhermetischen 2-, 4-, 6- und 8-Zylinder GEA Verdichter der Modellreihe HG zur Anwendung.
