CLEAN LIFESTYLE VACUUM

CLEAN LIFESTYLE VACUUM CLEANERS PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT ELECTROLUX LAUNCHES ROBOT CLEANER At IFA 2017, Electrolux introduced a robotic vacuum cleaner with a revolutionary design and gamechanging technology. The product will be launched in Europe and Asia this year under the Electrolux and AEG brands. The robotic vacuum cleaner can be controlled through a mobile app, allowing consumers to easily set cleaning times and cycles and find information on the cleaning status. Through Electrolux’s innovative 3D Vision technology, the machine accurately scans and maps the room to steer clear of obstacles. It also detects and analyses obstacles in three dimensions – on the floor, above the floor and along edges – and decides the best cleaning path to avoid getting stuck. Powerful suction, triangular design and an external brush help the cleaner reach corners and small areas. » HALL 4.1 / Stand 101 POWERSTICK PROMISES SUPER SUCTION Samsung Electronics launched the POWERstick PRO at IFA this week. An all-new cordless vacuum cleaner, the POWERstick PRO boasts industry-leading suction power, says Samsung, and establishes a new paradigm for cordless vacuum technology. Powered by Samsung’s Digital Inverter Motor which “spins faster than a tornado”, the POWERstick PRO is built for high performance. With 150W of power, it guarantees thorough cleaning efficiency on all floor types. And unlike brushes on conventional vacuums, the Dual Action Brush consists of two brushes, each with a separate drum, to better pick up dirt. The patented ergonomic Flex Handle folds up to 50° with a click of a button, letting users reach under low furniture. The cleaner is also light and minimises strain on wrists, muscles and back. »CityCube HALL B Stand 101 KEY SELLING POINTS KEY SELLING POINTS 1 Accurate scanning with innovative 3D Vision technology 2 Easy to control and calibrate via a mobile app 3 Powerful suction and external brushes for great performance 1 5 Additional Tools for ultimate deep cleaning solution 2 32.4V lithium-ion removable power pack offers up to 40 minutes of battery life, enough to clean most homes. 3 The EZClean Dustbin for hasslefree maintenance NEATO’S MOST POWERFUL ROBOT VACUUM CLEANER Neato Robotics has announced at IFA the launch of the Neato Botvac D7 Connected robot vacuum. According to Neato the D7 Connected is its most intelligent and powerful model to date. The new Neato FloorPlanner Advanced Mapping & Cleaning Technology allows users to create a Cleaning Map of the home. After scanning the home in Discovery Mode or through a normal clean, the robot creates the user’s personalised MyFloorPlan, accessible via the Neato app. Users will then be able to set virtual ‘No-Go’ lines to avoid specific areas they do not want cleaned. This ensures the robot always knows where to clean and where not to clean, eliminating the need for any physical barriers. The Cleaning Summary Map will show where the robot has vacuumed, as well as any issues or obstacles that prevented a complete clean. » HALL 6.2 / Stand 138 LUPE ONE’S AERODYNAMIC OFFERING The new Lupe One cordless vacuum cleaner is aiming to transform the market with groundbreaking technology that delivers a combination of great dirt removal, excellent filtration, a long running time and low noise. The handheld Lupe One, invented by two engineers who used to work at Dyson, has an interchangeable motor and battery pack that can be upgraded as the technology evolves. Due to launch in 2018, the company says the Lupe One is based on simple aerodynamic principles not typically used in cordless vacuums, and that its patented technology offers outstanding cleaning performance in an extremely energy-efficient manner. The Lupe One’s patented cleaner head is said to work on all floor types, removing the need for an array of pick-up heads. » HALL 26a / Stand 129 KEY SELLING POINTS 1 Patented cleaner head works on all floor types. 2 32.4V lithium-ion removable power pack offers up to 40 minutes of battery life, enough to clean most homes. 3 Efficient - whole-house cleaning performance with high pick-up. While other models have since been rolled out with the Alexa voice assistant, this smart helper employs intelligent navigation software to scan its surroundings. It also generates a map on the Bosch Home Connect app that allows users to specify no-go zones around children’s areas, for example. Roxxter can also store several maps at the same time, so users can vacuum multi-story homes as well as second homes or summer apartments. Moreover, the smartphone can be used to send this multi-functional helper to check through rooms in the home using an integrated streaming camera, ensuring peace of mind regarding family pets or, for example, ensuring that balcony doors are closed. » HALL 3.1 / Stand 101 KEY SELLING POINTS 1 Google Home enabled for voice assistant control 2 Advanced mapping technology for detailed digital cleaning maps of the home 3 Ecovacs App allows users to remotely effortlessly schedule cleaning times and set cleaning modes ECOVACS ROBOTICS DEEBOT OZMO 930 KEY SELLING POINTS 1 Among the first robots to include Amazon Alexa voice control 2 Intelligent navigation software scans surroundings to generate room maps 3 Acts as a surveillance device via an integrated streaming camera Ecovacs Robotics were at IFA to unveil new smart robot vacuum cleaners featuring all-new OZMO technology for super-efficient floor cleaning via an extra-large, electronically controlled water tank that moistens a washable cloth during the cleaning process.
