HEATING PLATES & TEFLON
HEATING PLATES & TEFLON PROTECTION The heart of any heat press is the heating plate. Our heating plates use exclusively Mikanit surface heaters. The tightly wrapped heating wires guarantee the constant and uniform temperature distribution throughout the entire surface. Furthermore, only very high-quality milled aluminum-cast plates with special pre-treatment are installed. These plates promise to apply the perfect pressure even after years of use. Each heating plate is equipped with a Teflon surface that can be replaced anytime. Our heating plates are available in the following standard sizes (in mm): 150x150; 200x200; 300x150; 300x200; 350x450; 500x400 Teflon for heating plates. The anti-static Teflon protection Fuchs uses guards the heating plate against dirt and debris. The Teflon is held in place with tension springs so that it always optimally touches the heating plate. Plates with Teflon films have the advantage over coated heating plates that the film can be replaced cost-effectively once it starts to wear. 34
