NEW SHIP’S ROSÉ WINE TERRE DI CHIETI ROSATO ORGANIC A medium-bodied, savoury rosé with a fresh and fruity aroma and soft red berries in taste. ORIGIN: Italy REGION: Abruzzo GRAPE: Montepulciano STORY This dry rosé wine comes from the vineyards located on the hills of the Chieti province in Abruzzo and managed according to organic and vegan production methods. The vineyards are in the heart of the province of Chieti, between the Maiella National Park and the Adriatic Sea, in a hilly area, on predominantly clay-limestone soils. The grapes reach the cellar at the end of September and are vinified with great delicacy to obtain an attractive pale pink colour. WINE MAKING This wine is produced with organic grapes. To enhance the wine’s aroma, fermentation takes place at a low temperature in stainless steel tanks. After fermentation, a period of aging on yeasts follows to enhance softness and elegance of the palate. FOOD PAIRING Terre di Chieti Rosato Organic has a bright pink colour with a fresh, fruity, and pleasant fragrance. As the taste is smooth, yet richly packed with summer berries, cherries, and a nicely balanced acidity, the wine goes well with appetizers, fish, salads, white meats, and cold cuts. The history of the winery traces back to 1882, when Angiolo Piccini, born into a family of merchants, pursued his vision by founding a small winery in the heart of Tuscany, in the hills of Chianti. From this patch of land, Angiolo and his heirs brought the Piccini name to every corner of the globe. Over 140 years and five generations, the Piccini family pursued a singular objective: narrating the tale of Italy’s wines and its pursuit of excellence. WINE MAKING Carefully selected from Tuscany’s soil, the finest Sangiovese and Merlot grapes undergo meticulous processing at a controlled temperature, followed by an extended maceration period. FOOD PAIRING Villa Paradiso Chianti Organic presents a deep ruby hue with a vibrant and clear appearance. The nose reveals ripe red cherries, strawberries, and subtle earthy notes. The palate delivers a harmonious blend of Sangiovese’s bold structure and Merlot’s velvety texture, showcasing flavours of cherry, plum, and a touch of cocoa.
