FRANZISKA SENG reports PHOTO MARTIN KREUZER The Gustav van Treeck workshop is set on a quiet courtyard in the history-rich Maxvorstadt district of the Bavarian capital. Just around the corner, there is a clutch of hip cafes and boutiques, but none of that hubbub seems to intrude on the enchanted seclusion of the atelier, where glass in all the colours of the rainbow – and some that aren’t even on the spectrum – is dreamt up and crafted for clients around the globe and created by designers such as Karim Rashid and Sebastian Herkner.
