PRODUCTS FFKM compounds

PRODUCTS FFKM compounds for highly resistant seals Scalable decanter centrifuges For processes, in which seals have to be be resistant to temperature, able to withstand a wide variety of chemicals and be resistant not only to vapour, but also to solvents, COG developed the range of FFKM materials COG Resist. The FFKM product family launches with four compounds: two universal materials, a special FFKM compound for use in the oil and gas industry and a compound for the food and pharmaceutical industry. The two allround materials, COG Resist RS 75 AL and COG Resist RS 80 AL demonstrate resistance to chemicals and acids, as well as very good mechanical properties. RS 75 AL is therefore heat resistant at temperatures of up to 325 °C, and RS 80 AL is heat resistant up to 260 °C. Both FFKM compounds demonstrate low gas permeability and low levels of swelling. The COG Resist RS 92 AED seal material is developed especially for applications where resistance to explosive decompression is required, and has been tested to Norsok standard M-710 and NACE TM 0297. COG Resist RS 75 HS can be used with even the very highest demands of the food, medicine and pharmaceutical industries. It has excellent resistance to CIP and SIP proce - dures and is free from animal-derived ingredients. This compound has the approvals/certificates for USP Class VI up to 121 °C, FDA 21. CFR 177.2400 and CFR 177.2600 as well as 3-A Sanitary Standard. » www.cpp-net.com Online search: cpp0117cog Andritz Separation has developed a generation of decanter centrifuges that are suitable for industrial, chemical, food, and environmental applications. The machines will complement the existing A-series for industrial, F-series for food, and D-series for environmental applications. The key advantage is its concept of scalability that can be modified according to customers’ requirements. This allows maximum flexibility in adjusting standardised machines. The large range of parameters enables to choose capacities from small to large, temperatures from -80 to +180 °C, pH-values from 1 to 10, and pressures of up to 6 bar. The decanter centrifuges can be used for slurries or sludge in the feed – from thin solids concentrations to streams with a heavy solids load. They are also suitable for a wide range of atmospheres, ranging from harmless to hazardous. » www.cpp-net.com Online search: cpp0117andritz Fail-safe module with direct current drives Gas detector monitors a combination of gases Tyco Gas & Flame Detection introduced the iTrans 2 fixed gas detector featuring an intelligent electronics platform that provides up to two points of detection from a single device. The gas detector is able to monitor a combination of gases using a combination of available sensor technologies to include electrochemical, catalytic bead, and infrared. The iTrans 2 boasts a wide range of safety features including automatic sensor recognition, access code security, and zero and calibration fault protection. Available in aluminum or stainless steel enclosure, the explosionproof device is designed for use in a wide range of applications and harsh environments. Other options include Hart communications protocol, RS-485 Modbus, programmable relays and remote sensing. Certifications include CSA, Atex, IECEx, and China Ex. » www.cpp-net.com Online search: cpp0117tyco Aris offers a fail-safe version for classic actuators of the Nano-DC series. In order to ensure rapid regeneration after the safety function has been activated, a battery solution has been excluded from the outset. The developer team opted for compact energy storage units, which are fully charged again after a complete discharge by repeated, successive triggering after a maximum of two minutes. Thus the necessary 100 % safety is ensured. Customer surveys on the requirements very quickly led to the realisation that an external solution is not an effective one. For this reason, the energy storage devices with the associated electronics are integrated into the drive housing. The customer can decide whether his actuator moves at the normal or maximum speed in the end position by means of different connection possibilities. Via the possible integration of additional position switches into the circuit, even intermediate positions can be defined as a fail-safe position. » www.cpp-net.com Online search: cpp0117aris 50 cpp 1-2017
