Norwegian strawberries are the sweetest, plumpest and juiciest in the world. For just as the sun barely rises above the horizon in Norway in winter, it barely sets in the summer. All those extra hours of sunlight create the most beautifully fragrant strawberries bursting with flavor. Look out for the sign “Jordbær” which means “earth berry,” and taste the midnight sun.
