LECTRICALEN ELECTRICAL ENERGY & MOBILITY SYSTEMS MASTER | WORK-FRIENDLY Location: Campus Villach Europastraße 4, 9524 Villach Duration: 4 semesters Schedule: Mon. – Fri., full-time, partly on Saturdays Tuition fee: € 363.36 per semester + Student Union Fee Academic degree: Master of Science in Engineering (MSc) ECTS credits: 120 Language: English Max. students per year: 24 Electrical Energy & Mobility Systems is a Master’s degree programme in engineering, focussing on research, design and the implementation of modern electrical energy, e-mobility, battery technology and electrical drive systems. Electrical Energy & Mobility Systems graduates are able to understand, develop and modify complex technical systems in the fields of electric power train development, drive control, electrical machines, mobile power electronics, battery technology, power electronics, alternative energy systems and mobility concepts. SPECIALIST AREAS The first semester is followed by two semesters of specialisation in the above-mentioned topics. In the fourth semester, the Master thesis will be written in conjunction with a work placement on completing the final examination. HEALTH CARE IT MASTER | WORK-FRIENDLY Location: Campus Klagenfurt Primoschgasse 10, 9020 Klagenfurt Duration: 4 semesters Schedule: Mon.–Fri., occasionally on Saturdays work-friendly schedule according to prior agreement Tuition fee: € 363.36 per semester + Student Union Fee The Master’s degree study programme “Health Care IT” addresses two important components that will fundamentally and sustainably shape the future of the current health system. This is particularly the use of artificial intelligence, which can support the process of assessing a diagnosis and the evaluation of imaging data, and may also affect many other sectors that we are not even considering at the moment. Another important point that will affect the current health system is the ageing of the population as a result of demographic change. COURSE INFORMATION This Master’s degree programme focuses on the technical aspects of Health Care IT, by providing a specific education in deep learning and clinical data analysis as well as in 3D printing and robotics. Active and Assisted Living is another core element of the programme that enables students to face the future challenges of our ageing society today. Additional to theoretical input, students receive hands-on training in specialised laboratories. Small groups, personal support and mentoring, and an open-door policy for all professors are top priorities.
