WASTE RECYCLING Concept The establishment of a plant for waste recycling and conversion into usable products as well as the generation of energy from waste. Location Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality (Bloemfontein, Botshabelo and Thaba Nchu). Investment Required R65-million. A business plan has been completed and would be available to prospective investors. LED LIGHT MANUFACTURE TOOLING AND MACHINERY MANUFACTURE Concept Manufacturing of metal, steel and plastic products for automotive, rail, aviation, mining and other similar industries. Location Botshabelo. Investment Required R15.1-million in capital expenditure is needed. Concept The manufacture and retail of light-emitting diodes (LEDs). Location Anywhere within the Free State. Investment Required R15-million. TEXTILE MANUFACTURING Concept To establish a textile manufacturing facility producing spun yarn and woven cloth for supply to Cut, Make and Trim (CMT) facilities in the Free State and the rest of South Africa.
