Die Herausforderung dieser Art der Fotografie ist ein Foto zu erhalten, welches den Moment anders wiedergibt, als das Auge des Zuschauers das Geschehene wahrnehmen konnte. Dabei sind Perspektive, unmittelbare Nähe, Hintergrundgestaltung, Schärfentiefe und Emotionen unabdingbare Bestandteile für ein gelungenes Foto.
Seit 1994 bin ich auf den unterschiedlichsten Plätzen und Rennstrecken unterwegs, um meinen Stil zu perfektionieren. Hierfür nutze ich jede freie Minute! Mit Kreativität und dem gewissen Blick fange ich interessante Motive ein, die sich für uns im Grenzbereich der detailgetreuen Wahrnehmung befinden. Mein Ziel ist es, Motive mit reinen fotografischen Hilfsmitteln wie Objektiven, Filtern, Belichtungszeiten und Blende so einzufangen, dass ein "künstlerischer Eingriff" über einschlägige Bildbearbeitungsprogramme nahezu hinfällig wird.
